    EPISODE 22 - U2 Talk 2 U

Talk about Scott and Scott having similar voices. Everytime one of U2 spoke I just thought it was Bonobos. Great ep! So exciting seeing the podcast mentioned on news sites today. http://www.nme.com/news/u2/87409 We liked talkin U2 before it was cool! Can completely understand how perfect this would be as a finale... But I hope this isn't the end!

EPISODE 336 — NOT Farts and Procreation 4

Wasn't sure whether or not to write anything as everything I feel has been said a thousand times better than I could express. But I feel like I can't really tell anyone else how I'm feeling because they'll think I'm insane. Who cries over someone they've never even met, who lived at the other side of the world and wasn't even Santa? Anyway, as soon as I found out by seeing Marc Maron's podcast titled "Remembering Harris..." I immediately thought, but it couldn't be... not Carl Sjunior, but it was... "Remembering Harris Wittels". And so for the past few days, every time I've been alone I've just been searching Google and Twitter and Earwolf, to try and come to terms with how we've all lost one of the funniest guys around and before he even got to reach his full potential. I feel like I lost one of my closest friends, there's kids from school that I spent over a decade with that I would barely crack a frown if I heard that they'd died, but here I am choking on my own tears because I'll never hear another foam corner. I feel so fortunate that we all got to hear him one last time, it was the perfect tribute. Here's some words from Harris on death that hopefully helps you guys, from his appearance on You Made It Weird a couple of months ago: "You have to treat everything lightly or life sucks... Doesn't it seem like a lot of celebrities are dying right now? But every single human being ever, has died and will die and so it's not that weird to me when it happens but everyone really makes quite a big deal of it... Cos it's gonna fuckin' happen... it's weird that death is a taboo, it's like this thing that people are scared to touch a little bit. Everyone's entire goal is to live for as long as possible and to leave legacy behind but that's not right... Why? We're all molecules, I'm the fucking same as... a cup." Talking about Robin Williams: "Death is beautiful, part of life. No, it is sad. It's sad when anyone dies, even though every single human dies. So, it's really not that sad. It's sad to not get his comedy anymore, it's sad for his family." So let's raise a cup to Harris, and remember all the times he's made us laugh our asses off with his work on Comedy Bang Bang and Parks and Rec, a grander legacy than most of us will leave behind. Thoughts go out to his family and friends and I hope they get to see just how much he meant to all of us. Rest in peace Harris, Rodney Ogg, Carl Sjunior, Clark Griswold and of course Brennis Dentmintsontinmen. Stand, creak, slam.

Episode 93 — Staying Alive: LIVE!

Have I missed something, is there no podcast this week? My Tuesday was empty, left to my own thoughts... I got some important stuff done! This is an OUTRAGE!!!

    Guardians of the Galaxy

So you did, sorry man! Didn't even realise it was Seth Green so your subtlety went way over my head. Blindly hoping Howard returns as a villain in Age of Ultron and attempts to kill George Lucas only to be captured and locked away forever in a crate in a huge warehouse forever....?

    Guardians of the Galaxy

I can't believe no-one has talked about the post-credits sequence of Guardians of the Galaxy!!! I don't want to give anything away but a certain feathered Marvel character makes an unexpected appearance!
  14. Finally! "It's been a while!", "Iiiiiiiiit's been!" and "That's also true!". "It's been" is obviously from Barenaked Ladies and now thanks to this ep I know, "It's been a while" is a Staind song, but can anyone shed some light on the "That's also true" catchphrase? Is it from Tenacious D's song Kyle Quit The Band? Let me in.
  15. As mentioned in this week's ep, there are no windows in the new studio. What does this mean for Dalton Wilcox, Don DiMello, Hot Dog, August Lindt, Danny Mahoney, Bill Carter, the Irish guy with the poems and the British guy who made a brief appearance in an episode?
  16. I've tried to listen to this week's episode about 4 times now but each time I wake up a thrilling adventure hour and 20 minutes later in a whimsical daze with no recollection of the show. Anyone else having this problem?

    Episode 282 — Wompster's University

I usually do look into who is playing the characters but I was just so sure it was Tig, I'd already looked into her wiki page. All my CBB podcast titles have every guest's full name right there but I was never a big fan of Tig on the show, so after assuming Miss Listler was Tig I never noticed until catching up on the current eps and seeing no credit for her. I was listening to nearly 300 episodes of Comedy Bang Bang in the space of 3 or 4 months, not always having time to research every single character. Now I'm up to the weekly episodes I can do that. I was just looking to see if anyone else made this mistake and now there are worms all over the floor. I'm sorry :'( Anyone else made similar mistakes? p.s. When will Patton Oswalt be back doing Traci Rearden, she is hot! (J/K Rowling)

    Episode 282 — Wompster's University

Wow, shot down on my first post. This is my first Wompler episode since catching up to the most recent podcasts so I never really read the guest-lists on a lot of the back catalogued shows. Miss Listler and Tig Notaro have the exact same voice so if that's the dumbest thing you've ever read on here then kudos to the forum. p.s. Go bleep yourself!
