So we get labled and can never comment on anything unless it is nothing but us saying how wonderful and perfect everything is? None of us (to my knowledge) are out posting on Twitter or anything, our feelings about what went on. We're just here talking about our views of the discussion (which, by the way they even touched on with the 'we should probably not be saying this'). I am one of the biggest rah-rah people that listens to Earwolf, but I'm still allowed to voice my critism when I find something that bothers me. No one is calling for anyone to be in trouble, no one is calling for anyone to be written a letter or boycotted or in any way taken down. We're just saying how we felt about this one. After hundreds of episodes, I think we're allowed to express displeasure sometimes.
You and everyone else absolutely have that right. In fact, no one said you didn't, but I find a lot of people on Earwolf to hold some bizarre double standard in comedy. I'm thinking about Horatio's recent appearances on i4h and CBB!, the mini anger at i4h about talking about what's racist, and basically David in the Live Portland episode of PB. I just don't understand how midget jokes are somehow much more offensive than say... raping children bits on other podcasts. I just find it ridiculously petty.

I've come to the conclusion that some folks in the Earwolf community are some of the most sensitive comedy fans in the world. You all are the "comedian in the internet age" folks that people like Patton Oswalt talks about.

My favorite improv4humans are always the ones where I have a hard time choosing my favorite parts. This qualifies as one of those.

"No let's talk to her." So matter of factly... I've relistened to the phone call so many times and can't stop laughing each time.

Geeked out at the mention of Dan Carlin's Hardcore History.
"What is your opinion of who a grip is?"
#ClassicJarles
Al Gore + Rhythm
... I can't keep typing everything I love about this. Goddamn you, CBB! You're killing it in 2015.

I embedded your picture for you be easy on me... hope you don't mind!
Thanks so much for the help!

Starting off with "titties" was very fitting considering I took this picture of graffiti where I live (Vietnam) today:

I don't know how to embed, so sorry!

Discovering the customer with long hair was actually a woman made me laugh harder than it probably should have.
Â
There was also this during the ads that got a little fist pump out of me:
"What kind of music do you listen to?!"
"Not KISS."

Can't wait to listen to this. The new Stars album is dancey as hell. Love all of those Broken Social Scene overlaps and side projects really.

can you give me an ep # for each?
Orson Welles was also on the most recent holiday episode. But he was overshadowed by everything and everyone else.

Man, Tig is the unassailable master of denial improv... so good.
I'm not going to lie, this kind of made me love her even more than I already do.
-
edit: Just listened. Solid ep, Tig and Leykis had this oil-and-water vibe that was funny but also kinda redundant since Scott is usually the wet towel. Personally I think it might be time to retire that character for awhile having peaked on With Special Guest a couple weeks back.
The crowd and Tig in the last 1/3 of this is a good barometer of why this character needs to be shelved for a while. Can't nail them all (or most of them in the final 1/3) regardless of how many vulgar jokes or obscure literary/arts references you throw out.
Â
However, I feel like the women of Wild Horses held their own great when actually given a chance. And Tig is just the best. I need to figure out a creative way to become an expert on Professor Blastoff (which has been on a roll lately with a string of fantastic episodes).

That cat app 1) doesn't make sense 2) sounds exactly like the bullshit you'd expect to hear about at SXSW. In fact, hearing them take the piss out of that one and the movie choice app was too damn funny.
Â
The too soon discussion couldn't have been more on point. I kind of wonder if Besser was at the first CBB! taping, heard the fall out, and landed perfectly into a "too soon" scenario.
-
Co-signed. She's the greatest!
I also agree with this. I fucking love me some Mary Holland.

Â
he was supposed to be there, scott even says 'why did you take his mic when your mic is sitting right there' or something
I missed that while listening to this at work. Rewound, and you are indeed correct.

I'm not actually sold on the idea that Horatio was supposed to be there at all. His arrival seemed to surprise everyone and didn't come at a natural moment and Scott seemed thrown for a second.
I'm going to let you all finish your pedantic conversations, but this post deserves more attention. This is exactly how I felt, but upon further investigation (looking at the CBB twitter), it looks like there was an empty fifth stool in one of the pictures. I would embed if I knew how.

I really liked this, and I feel like, without outwardly saying it, they did a good job of showing what OCD really is. So many people think being organized or ordering things alphabetically makes one OCD, when it's actually OCPD.
-
Just started, but this discussion about wild death scenarios is almost too damn funny for its own good.
Â
Okay. This is the funniest intro (IMO) in a long time.

kanye west is literally a genius
He also has moxie.

Between Tom Hanks appearing in a Carly Rae Jepsen video and Colin talking about cumfarts, this has been a rather unexpected two weeks from the Hanks family.

One of the end of the year Comedy Bang Bangs had PFT and Scott talking about someone complaining about what I'm pretty sure was musical guests. The conversation basically went the way of PFT saying, "Fuck that and fuck those people."
Â
So, just so you all know, when you complain on the message boards, this is how PFT (and I'm guessing most/all folks at Earwolf) feel about you whining about a free podcast that you can choose to skip.

Also, it sounded like Lauren Lapkus was veering very dangerously towards Ho-Ho territory at one point.

Tim Meadows on culture and "in the hood" cracked me up. I love Tim Meadows so much.

I don't know what to say. Hell yes! to this guest. After a week of wanting to crush everything around me, this was incredibly inspirational.

P.S. - If I had artistic talent, I'd fashion a picture of Kyle wearing a wheat mask.

Shit. Michael McMillian is hilarious. I only know him from True Blood unfortunately. Any other spots anyone know of where I can check him out showing off his comedic chops?
