  1. I don't know if it's because of post-truth era disillusionment or Twin Peaks S3, but I'm enjoying this more than I expected.
  2. Adomian's Alex Jones was so very good

    Ask Paul!

Dear Paul Did growing your beard for B$P have a conscious/subconscious effect on your characters - e.g. did you find yourself becoming 'burly' more frequently?
  4. This deserves more comments. Could have gone off the rails with all the time jumps but it held together nicely. Steven was great!

    Episode 467 - TruLife TV

For Paul - googling trulife tv gets 'did you mean truelife tv this weird Thai based streaming site thing?'. Get that SEO in line!

    Paywall Special Announcement

Machinations of Pee-pee. See, evolution! I'll get my coat...

    Paywall Special Announcement

It may not be the funniest but it's one of the most historic! The evolution of culture (or content/art whatever you call it) is super interesting and moments like these shed light on its machinations.

    Episode 423 - Time Bobby 4

'They're nots gonna sings happy birthday and there not be birthday'. I'd buy that t-shirt
  9. 'Are you excited about The Force Awakens' pulled me right out of the zone for a split second. Really not that long ago but feels so far away now (tagline for the next film).

Episode 420 - Todd Is Too High with Rogue Wave

    Six unique letters
  11. So - the catchphrase is 'The actual sound of throwing up, Welcome to Vomity Bag Bag'? Or is it 'asterix sound of throwing up asterix Welcome to Vomity Bag Bag!'? Please be clearer

Episode 2 - Donald Trump Goes Camping

I genuinely find it hard to distinguish Anthony's Trump from the real deal, either by sound or content. It's both impressive and terrifying.

Episode 412 - Little Whittle Whistle

Enjoying this episode, and saw a high comment count so was curious as to what was going on. Turns out a lot of back and forth over some people's desire for attention. Shame. Yes free speech, yes the internet. However, this is very clearly a close knit 'community' based forum of (I like to think) open minded liberal types, and fans of the show (which I like to think is an open minded, liberal sort of show). Bearing that in mind, I guess loudly deriding one of the guests of said show with strong and insulting language in said forum is no doubt going to cause a bit of a stir, no? Besides, the more you swear and state your opinions as 'facts', the less weight any opinions you have might hold (isn't comedy a subjective artform?), and the more obvious it is that you were trying to stir shit up rather than voice an opinion as part of a community discussion. So enjoy the 5 minutes of drama and the resulting lack of a shit anyone else gives in the long run, as well as having no effect whatsoever on the show runners' choices. I'm not saying these forums should be optimism only, but there's a line between criticism and bull-horning. You know, it is possible to have an interesting intellectual debate on these forums about whatever you want.
  14. This one hurt my brain slightly, but in a good way. Was very pleased when the egg-car area was revealed to be part of the painting (I thought that all along and shared Paul's confusion when it seemed like it might not be).

Episode 403 - This Ain't Now, This is Then

Lost it at however hole/howeverhole. Failing to look professional at work. Scott and Scott 4eva xx

Bumping this as it has to be THE film that begs the question HDTGM. It's up there with The Room in absurdity, probably moreso. How the hell did they get some of the cast members, including Jeffrey Tambor, Max Von Sydow and Leelee Sobieski? Why are there constantly strange editing tricks and gimmicks that are trying to be clever but are just completely out of place and irrelevant? Not to mention 'What the hell is going on?'. It's like Jodorowsky meets Philip K. Dick meets a 16 year old marketing student. Going deeper it seems like there's probably some attempt at social commentary regarding captalism (it was produced by both America and Russia). But whatever's there is lost in the insanity.
