Episode 239 - The Best of Music Vol. 2

If suggestions are in play, Eric Bachmann would fit in perfectly with the I4H musical dynamic. Plus he's just about my favorite live performer working today.
  2. I was listening to this on my lunch break and the EXACT SECOND Chris Tallman said, “No, a dream is a wish your heart makes,” I glanced up at the coffee shop trivia board and saw "'A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes' was originally featured in which Disney film?" I don’t know what this means but I’m frightened.
  3. John was soliciting listener questions for a vague upcoming podcast project at the end of today's CBB, so I suspect you may get your wish. I really want to believe Gino's comment about ska bands not having much room for black musicians was intentional irony on Gabrus's part, what with ska being a product of Jamaica and all. (Granted, '90s ska was pretty dang white.)

Episode 128 - Streets of Fire: LIVE!

You gotta see Emperor of the North, in which Ernest Borgnine and Lee fuckin' Marvin have a brutal sledgehammer duel on a moving train.
  5. If memory serves, it’s one of Alan Thicke’s goals to meet every Gord in Canada, which isn’t as difficult as it sounds because there are only 1000 people in the country.

    EPISODE 366 — Cafeteriapalooza

In fact, Mr. Joe Bongo was introduced on the Womp it Up podcast and is quite familiar with Ms. Listler. I very much hope Frank Frank crosses over in that direction soon.

EPISODE 338 — Be My Guest, Literally

Y'know, if I was trying to sell an improv-hater on this show, describing it as two hours of conversation and game-playing between a hammy French actor, a stoic German filmmaker, an English investment attorney, a naughty elf and a grumpy Santa Claus would probably sound like everything people hate about improv. And yet this is perfection.
