I think I can provide some insight. It's the very fact that Armen is uber-wealthy and marginally talented that prompts these people to cape for him. Even though he's not very funny and is a part of the 1%, to them, he's a just a poor, shy nerd.

In this scenario, we're the bullies because we don't find him funny and say so. They think they're protecting the quiet nerd from the big, dumb jocks, but in reality they're protected the rich kid whose dad just laid everyone off. The delusion they have runs deep.

I don't get how a comedian you don't like on a free podcast can get someone so worked up. Why not just stick to "I'm not a fan of Armen's comedy" and leave it at that?

Incredibly disappointed no one brought up Scheer/Mantzoukas as their ideal pair for this movie. I think both of them would've killed either role.

God, Aziz's post is amazing. I've been devastated all day and finally came here just...I dunno. No one else I know really knows who Harris was because they're not podcast/comedy nerds so it's been really hard to express myself.
