I just noticed something about Patton oswalt's laugh when Scott says TNDBO. It's sort of "yes, Scott, you've said something amusing but I don't get the reference, I will laugh anyway just to be safe."

Damn, I loved thst one. I think maybe people though PFT was over represented. I liked how tears for fears were so amused by everything.

Well, that makes sense because both Scottrick and PFT wrote for it! Loved thrilling adventure hour, but I couldn't tell whether Mark was just playing the annoyed guest or was really just not getting into it (my least favorite guest of the year, I'm sorry, was Adam Resnick. Brilliantly funny writer, lousy interview). But K was hilarious!

Also, God, I love Dabney... There's something so satisfying about hearing Scott try and fail to do a character. Comedians bombing... Am I just a sick bastard for liking that kind of stuff?

I love me Benny Schwaaatz but I couldn't get into solo bolo because I need the dynamic of a Besser or Sanz to fuck with him... Benny getting outraged is the funniest thing ever. A Pott F TompkerCast would work

There are episodes which I find are l less than stellar through the fault of certain guests... Or that aren't at the level of the classics because of the improvisation - Gertrude Stein once said that Ernest Hemingway wrote as if he was making things up as he was going along... Scott chooses to still use audiotape rather than going to all digital, because as Truman Capote observed the tape is the record of the soul... Whst I'm trying to say is that Bob Odenkirk should come back as Thor.

Don't know if I'm late to the party, but anyone from SCTV, if possible in character. An hour and a half with Edith prickley or Jackie Rogers Jr. would be sublime. And I doubt they would do it, but pretty much any major celeb with second city or groundling experience: Colbert, Fey, Melissa McCarthy, Lovitz (okay, he might do it)

I love Reverend Parsimony. I don't know many Protestant ministers (and sadly no Luthertarians),but I know a lot of Midwesterners and... Yep, that's about right.

Good analysis! Scott/Paul is all about language, Scott/Benny is mostly about singing, and Scott/mantzoukas is usually about tag teaming against Andy Daly. (In oh golly you devil there were so many points where they were clearly trying to screw up Andy and they just couldn't.) I can't quite categorize Scott's dynamic with Lapkus, except that I love it. Lapkus is often a little naughty, but in a playful rathernthan crude. What's really weird is that I think Lennon parham solo is just as good or better than a Lennon/Jessica team up. sometimes wompler is a little too... Sad for me.
