    The 6th Day (2000)

I have seen the perfect movie for this wonderful podcast and it is the 6th Day. Lasers shooting off feet, creepy robot dolls that no child would want, sexy holograms and bad CG. All that and its a Schwarzenneger film post True Lies. The best.

    Holy Precognition!

So,...I started back at the beginning and began relistening to all of the episodes. Today, It was time for the Keanu Reeves catastro-fuck that was "Johnny Mnemonic". During the episode, Jason reads the screen crawl from the beginning of the film and I almost shit myself! There is a part that goes as follows: "Second decade of the 21st century. Corporations Rule. The world is threatened by a new plague. A fatal epidemic whose cause and cure are unknown." You guys! This movie predicted covid-19! And if that wasn't enough...10 minutes later, Jason posits, while talking to Jessica St. Clair about how hot Keanu is, that he should try out for "John Wick 3" in an attempt to meet and sleep with Mr. Reeves!!!! My questions are: A ) Do you think that the screenwriter is a prescient time lord and if so, how is this year going to go because I am exhausted and I'd love to have a heads up?... and.. B ) Did Zooks and Keanu seal the deal as I assume that this was his sole reason for auditioning? Thanks for all of the free content.I love you guys and I can't wait to see another live show once the world starts up again. (I got to see "Striptease" live in Chicago) Steve in Indiana

    Jason X (2001)

I think this would be a perfect addition. I see nothing better than ripping into the Friday the 13th franchise for making the pile of garbage known as "Jason X". What could be better than "Jason Voorhees in space"! The film is rife with things to talk about, like the nearly-all Canadian/sci-fi franchise actors, the extreme nonchalance of most of the crew even at the face of a demented serial killer, and how everybody is fucking everybody. The only person who doesn't get fucked is Jason. And let's not forget such incredible quotes as: "Hey Slappy! I got a little something for ya." "Um, what's a bike?" and, of course... "...oh man." Continuity and scientific errors abound, this movie would make Roland Emmerich question what's going on. And, in closing, I give you this scene. It is quite amazing.

    Future Topics Suggestions

What are some Topics everyone would love to hear Michael & Michael unpack for us? There is an entire world of topics that have yet to be truly explored to a minimum of 80%. I think that is an immeasurably profound realization and I'd really love others to expand on that. Some suggestions of mine are Plagiarism Allies & Enemies Drugs Vacation Conspiracy Theories America Mascots Symbols True Love Water Sports Sports Kids Staying Organized Alien Abductions Education
  5. So I'm sure now that we've learned all things U2 that is humanly possible, Scott and Scott are going to be diving deeper into U Talkin' U2 To Me? We'll probably get some more stained glass, hopefully we'll get some more Bon Jovi talk, maybe even some REM, but what other future episode ideas can you guys come up with? Here's one idea I had. An episode teaching Adam how to use his fucking phone.

    Gattaca

I just watched Gattaca for the first time recently, and it was laughably bad. This was particularly odd, considering the movie's reputation and positive reviews (e.g. 82% on RottenTomatoes). From the plain ol' stupid dialogue to the weird gyroscope machines the character use to exercise, this movie is a disaster. I thought the "space exploration" text book Ethan Hawke reads was a particularly good touch. Definitely worth checking out for some genuine what the fuck moments. My guess is that people like this movie because the plot is pretty interesting, but the movie is just horribly executed.
