  1. My husband starred in this movie with Jeff Fahey and Jonathan Rhys-Davies... It's not very good, but brings a good laugh. Thankfully, my husband is a good sport about it and acknowledges its bad-ness. But he had fun shooting it and doesn't regret the experience. Last I checked, it was free to watch with Prime. Check it out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mI57XftLAm8&feature=share
  2. Working on some prop/set graphics here at the office, and reading a script for an upcoming episode of a TV show that may or may not be on a network that rhymes with "LEE VEE ESS". Lookie lookie! The TICK TOCK WOMAN cometh

    New Shirts

Charissaโ€™s TeePublic Store Link HELLO PEOPLE OF EARTH.. Iโ€™ve started my own Tee Public store. Iโ€™ve got a lot of HDTGM designs. My favorite is featured in the showโ€™s store. Itโ€™s a โ€œcampaign posterโ€ for our very own June. I did get to read it to her and she took it at the Seattle 2nd show. Take a look and I love suggestions for new shirt ideas! SHIRTS ON SALE!

    Episode 217 - Jaws 3-D

First, the admission. I too, was fascinated by soap opera kissing as a young boy AND practiced on my mom. So Paul, you are not alone!! Well maybe 4 or 5 times until my mom put the brakes on it. Now the omission! Paul, what research were you going to share with us before Jason and Juneโ€™s ridiculing made you give up? Iโ€™m dying to know!

    Iceman (2014)

synopsis: An imperial guard and his three traitorous childhood friends ordered to hunt him down get accidentally buried and kept frozen in time. 400 years later passes and they are defrosted continuing the battle they left behind. Oh boy, where to begin... I immediately thought "what a field day Paul, June, & Jason would have with this movie." There are flashbacks that come out of nowhere, superhuman strength, Krishna's Penis, & crazy long streams of piss (you'll see). It came out in 3D, I didn't watch it in 3D, but I imagine it was silly. I would actually recommend this movie because it's kind of hilarious and has some great fight scenes, but you really need to see it to understand. I watched it because it has Donnie Yen (Ip man). Oh Donnie... It's on Netflix, so you don't need to buy it. HOW DID THIS GET MADEEEEE??? TELL MEEEEE! imdb: ICEMAN
  6. Hello, my name is Ryan. I'm not usually the type of person to ask for help or anything of that sort, but at this time in my life I'm in a place I never thought I would be. My fiance just finished a long battle with leukemia, and she just wants to get back in school and be able to finish and move on with our lives. Medical bills are making this borderline impossible and it just seems like it's a never-ending nightmare. Anything you guys can do to help us out would make all the difference in the world. 7. CopKabob

    Xchange (2000)

Okay so this movie is like Face Off meets Reindeer Games. Starring Stephen Baldwin, Kyle MacLachlan and Kim Coates. This needs to be an episode, its a classic Virtuosity situation where this is a solid "vision of the future" kind of movie that gets so unnecessary crazy. There is also a weird thing that there are several nude scenes but all the woman are very petite and small breasted. I know it sounds odd to notice but it seemed like a choice by the directer or casting. And thats just the start. Let me repeat Steven Baldwin Imdb describes it as "In the future, where it's faster to travel by exchanging bodies with someone at the destination, a man's body is hijacked by a ruthless terrorist." I repeat, Steven Baldwin, is in this movie and I don't think there has been a HDTGM with Steven, gotta check off another Baldwin for the show. Thank you for your time

    Downhill Willie (1996)

Downhill Willie is a terrible movie that aged really bad. I think that it is the perfect movie for HDTGM. Just watch the trailer and you'll understand why it should be on the Podcast.
  10. Iโ€™ve never felt compelled to post on a message board half way through a film. I need someone break this down for me because I canโ€™t follow whatโ€™s going on, itโ€™s making me feel angry, itโ€™s not Meant to, and I donโ€™t care anymore; I just want it to end. I canโ€™t stop it. Iโ€™m fully committed. Best case scenario Infall asleep and forget about it when I wake up tomorrow. Itโ€™s written as a supernatural mystery โ€œthrillerโ€, acted like a soap opera, lit and shot like a Lifetime movie. Jaime Dornan, Aaron Paul, Molly Parker, Oliver Plat, and the director of Piranha 3-D. IMDB: The story begins on Louis Drax's 9th birthday, when a lifetime of curious mishaps culminates in the boy's near-fatal fall. Desperate to reveal the strange circumstances behind the young boy's accident and dark coincidences that have plagued his entire life, Dr. Allan Pascal (Dornan) is drawn into a thrilling mystery that explores the nature of the sixth sense, testing the boundaries of fantasy and reality.
  11. Hello Everyone! We've been discussing trying to coordinate a movie watching/live posting group on a semi-regular basis. Considering we are all spread across the globe, we thought it might be a cool way for us to "watch a movie together." So this is an open invitation to anyone who might be interested in joining us. I think the idea, as of right now, is to call it HDTGM Classics. Like many of you, I wasn't fortunate enough to discover HDTGM until around the first Howdies, and while there were a number of movies I had already seen prior to discovering the podcast, there were/are still quite a few that I haven't seen (My Letterboxd List currently has me at 116). Basically, this would be an opportunity to fill in those gaps, socialize with friendly like-minded individuals, and save you the anguish of trying to watch any of these turd muffins alone. However, before we can really get this thing going, we need to get an idea of how many people are interested and where they're at geographically. For example, Cam Bert lives in Japan and I live in the EST of the US. So Friday night for me is Saturday morning for him. I think that's a pretty good jumping off point, though. So I was thinking maybe 10PM EST on a Friday TBD? How does that sound? Once we get a feel for the people interested, we can then discuss which movies (probably from a vote and pool of five or so choices) and how to access them. I think it will probably end up being every person for themselves to get a hold of a copy and then we just synch up when we're ready to go. If anyone's interested, please let me know!

  15. Hey everybody, I recently re-listened to the episode on From Justin to Kelly, and hopped on IMDB and Wikipedia for a bit of additional research. There are 2 things I wanted to bring up I felt people would enjoy. Firstly, Justin Guarini's career is absolutely flourishing. You may have seen him recently as Lil' Sweet from the Doctor Pepper commercials. Yes, that is in fact Kelly's own Justin Secondly, in the spirit of Second Opinions, this unedited review from IMDB user ekudamram My wife rented this video from the bait shop next to the motel. She said, "most of the videos were porn - flicks, and "Justin to Kelly" was the only thing the store had that looked good". Chick - flick, or porn? A ... I would have chose "Just Doin Kelly" instead I think. Anyway I've been wondering for years where Harley dropped that chick hitchhiker off. I had been meaning to find out. Proves the old saying is true that "they will let anyone become a cop." Glad to check that one off of my bucket list. Oh yea, what did I think of the movie? I must have dozed off after the "officer Cutter" scene. Though I liked "Harley Davidson & the Marlboro Man"; seen it many times on satellite in 25 years as a matter of fact. Furthermore Tom Sizemore, Alec, Billy, and Daniel's big brother were actually plausible villains in that Don Johnson / Mickey Rourke likewise plausible "reluctant, but worthy tandem heroes" flick. Moreover HD & the MM is a hell of a lot better movie than this J to K stinker; I seen enough of the latter to rate it a 3 rather than 1 because to be fair I failed at staying awake; so that much I can tell you. Otherwise i'll have to ask my wife, and get back to you for a "Justin to Kelly" review. Better yet don't even waist your time just checkout the aforementioned Johnson, Rourke, Sizemore, and Baldwin flick instead. Or porn; heck any porn rates at least a 5 by default. Anyways, hope I didn't in any way spoil anybody's lifelong "Carmen Sandiego" / "Waldo" hunting - sojourn for nameless "femmes of the silver - screen." ." Hope you enjoyed this post!

  20. Dear Earwolf and How Did This Get Made Crew,I LOVE "HOW DID THIS GET MADE".I have been binge-listening to HDTGM episodes since Earwolf put the archived episodes behind the Paywall. It had been on my list on my regular podcast list, bust since they moved it to a paid subscription, I've been going hard to listen to the earliest episodes through the membership promos offered because it was what I had wanted to do from the beginning since discovering Paul, June & Jason halfway through last year. (<==== Yeah, I know, late to the game and SUPER LAME. I concede, I should have been on this WAY EARLIER in my life.)I had been doing this gradually prior to the elimination of the podcasts for free โ€” and it was disconcerting to find that they archived all the episodes into a paid section earlier this year. I want VERY much to support Earwolf and HOWL.fm and especially HDTGM, but as a starving student in the final-ish stages of her PhD, I can't contribute to things I really want to without taking away from rent and food.IN ANY CASE, I've just finished the first annual howdies where the gang indicated that they've created 10+ days of content. I've LITERALLY tried to stream as many intravenously via HOWL.fm, but I only managed to get through until 2014. I'll tell you now, it feels much longer than 10 days of contentโ€” NOT because it's boring, but because if you've ever tried to binge almost 8 years of content, you go a little batty. Try it. I dare you.Regardless, this is definitively one of the most incredible podcasts I've heard (and I listen to A LOT). I just want you guys to know that when I actually start making money, after I graduate and get a new job, I will contribute to How Did This Get Made (and Earwolf) in appreciation of how much you saved me from going insane during my dissertation writing.Take care and stay gold,-sad panda-P.S. I have LITERALLY listened to EVERY SINGLE EPISODE FROM DAY ONE up to episode 93 (Staying Alive, LIve!) up to this exact minute. I am determined to finish ALL of 2014, 2015, and the half of 2016 that I haven't heard within the next TWO WEEKS while trying to finish my dissertation. Huzzah. Watch me do this. Literally.
  21. Tanks, tank tops, and tighty-whities. It's got everything its sequel Guatama Buddha Respected Journeyman lacked. We watched:
  22. Since Cam Bert's on the other side of the world, I thought I'd go ahead and create this now.
  23. "Is there anybody going to listen to my story..?" Well, sure, but if Rotten Tomatoes is to be believed, about half of us would really prefer not to... We watched: Now to figure out if "All You Need is Love" or if a coherent plot and compelling characters might be required too...
