taraba 1 Posted July 9, 2018 The movie starts with a premise of would you press a button if doing so gave you one million dollars but someone you don't know would die. Hey, that sounds cool and apparently was an episode of the Twilight Zone, which this is based on. But the need to explain how this all works and why they're doing it starts to involve aliens and mind control and the movie goes off the rails. Bonus for horrible CGI on Frank Langella's face that looks like a high school project instead of Hollywood. Also a bit of a misogynistic undertone as the people who push the buttons in the movie are the wives. Share this post Link to post
TrueBrapKino 2 Posted August 21, 2018 The Box is one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen, and it caught me totally off guard. I thought for sure it would be at least decent but the whole time I was wasting my time. Lots of questions to ask, lots of what the fuck moments- good rec for hdtgm ! Share this post Link to post
