Episode 231 — This Is Not Me, This Is Them

Recommended Posts

I have started to get some suggestions about a cross over between the wheelchair girl and CBB tv show universe involving me "leaping" into the show and possibly losing my legs as a result of a NEW NO-NO. Please vote your best ones using the META-PHILE coupon code. ///3428F99.

I did what I could with MS Paint and a little 'artistic' license.

An astonishing achievement.

.aaaaand welcome back to the show. I have just done a huge Quant(pronounced cunt) Leap into prehistoric times and repaired a relationship with my good friend Barney, and then immediately tried to stop a stone car with my legs leaving me legless and thereby providing the necessary conditions that allow me to leap into my next adventure....well, I do not know for sure if its totally necessary but it always gets Ziggy's attention and it seems to be "time" to leap.

You can get lost in those eyes. They're like swimming pools.

I hope that's not the last we hear of Jesse Ventura's closing up the plug bag "remix".

It's a shame the band These Arms Are Snakes is broken up, this episode has inspired me to start a competing band called These Arms Are Dicks.

Completely lost it when Jesse got trapped in the plug bag. Oh my god. Tears.

Today was the day I decided to introduce my girlfriend to CBB on our morning commute. Things got weird fast.

Anyone know a good online dating site for guys with not quite symmetrical faces?

welcome back to season ten of wheelchair girl, and despite widespread criticism which is just a natural

part of the show's enormous success, we just keep chugging along with the same indomitable spirit that made everyone fall in love with the show in the first place. There is some concern that the characters do not actually care about the people they are dating, and are callous towards their break ups, and give off a general sense of

loose moral beliefs. Kramer is still everyone's favouououououourite character on the show who seems to be able to turn any word into america's favourite catchphrase and in this scenario the n-word is transformed into a meaningless gesture of absurdity and Kramer is widely regarded as the father of new conventional oral traditions in a new global community.

I have been reincarnated as a clone of myself by a fan who says I am an idiot for leaving so much dna all over the place. Eye contact is very subtle and erratic at the same time if that is even possible. We are eating cheetos and his mom says that she better not catch us with drugs or watching porn.

Yes and no. The wheelchair girl show quickly grew from the popularity of similar CBB posts, and went on to ten seasons and drew some unfair comparisons to Seinfeld but humbling nonetheless. I died in the finale of the last season, and it was an ironic twist on many critic's opinions that the show had grown too ironic and they felt everyone was just being fake and didn't actually care, and we were like, "maybe we don't care", .."and maybe that is the whole fucking point"..," and blah, blah, blah, yadda, yadda, yadda(seinfeld comparisons again)". Long story short, when artists kill themselves its kind of a big deal, so you can imagine how successful that finale was...segway to my own personal suicide note, and I think you know where this whole thread is going.

In regards to your heart attack. Yes, you had a heart attack and that is why you are able to communicate with me right now.

Now its 2000 years in the future and the wheelchair girl character becomes a cultural phenomenon to the point that it warps history's perception of the 2010's, and in the year 4000, people start to think that a person actually was persecuted for spending too much time on CBB forums, and despite the implausibility of this scenario, and all the questions about why someone would even lower themselves to become a commenter and walk in their shoes and despite the horrific one hour sequence in the subsequent Mel Gibson movie where wheelchair girl is horrifically and quite graphically posting over and over ...despite all this and its fanciful nature, it becomes a world religion, and very much like today, people turn to podcasts to keep themselves from watching crazy amounts of porn.

Thank you for using my catchphrase. Just hearing my name pass over Scott's sweet lips really made my day.

Kumail (and I am saying it to be racist) just knows how to hit my funny bone man, he just cracks me up. So great to have him back on the program and I'm really looking forward to seeing Beta Male!

Also awesome having Adomian back, feels like forever since he was last on! Paul Giamatti seems to get fucking weirder every time he appears but I love it. Ventura was classic as always...was dying when he was getting trapped in the plug bag.

*Side note* Season 2 premiere was fantastic, great job Scott and everyone involved! I have a feeling this season is going to be amazing and I can't wait to see the rest of the episodes!!

When Jesse (tb,m,s) Ventura said that the President would be the last person thrown out of the ring, I got a bit excited because he had unwittingly created a loophole in which the President would be the second strongest person in the ring, and almost inevitably this would result in Ventura standing alone in the ring experiencing the crushing disappointment of thinking he was now President and then belatedly realizing that no, the person he had just thrown out was the President now, because one cannot throw oneself out of the ring.

I put too much thought into these things.

Re-listening tonight, still one of my favorite episodes of Comedy Dang Dick. There's just something about Paul and Jesse in this episode, and the way it all meshes with Kumail, that is just comedy gold. This is probably my fifth time listening, maybe fourth or sixth. Scott is constantly on-point, the guests are great... Just an all-around exemplary episode of Comedy Chun-Li. Very special thanks to James Adomian for the priceless entertainment, and the fact that he has outdone himself since this episode, most notably in Shed Busting.
