Episode 32 — B.J. Novak, Our Close Friend

Quick reminder that agata still hasn't fixed her jacked up spelling of SPIDER DASH MAN in this week's intro posting.

Hey that reminds me what's everyone's favorite Steven Seagal movie? Mine is probably "Urban Justice". I especially like how his character in all his movies takes the accent of the people around him, so in "Urban Justice" he talks like a black guy, which is pretty cool.

Also a runner-up is "Out for Justice" for the same reason (but Italian):

Loooooovved the song, very Billy Joel-esque.

What is this, the forums for Analyze Treese? Or U Talkin' Tim Treese To Me?

That was just a funny joke. I actually really liked the Popcorn Gallery song. Although I thought it sounded like more of a mix of Frank Soprano and Stop and We'll Die.

My sister just sent me this picture from the airport saying "He just asked if I needed help carrying my baby through the terminal."

Is that a famous person, because I don't know who that is, but I assume he's a very important famousman because he has to multitask phone call AND picture.

Of course, I don't think she had an option cause if you need help, X gon' give it to ya.

My Mom deals blackjack at the casino and she told me that 2 nights ago he sat at her table and everyone kept wanting to take pictures with him. She didn't know who he was and at the end of the night he gave her a nice tip and said, "Thanks for treating me like a normal person. I know you don't know who I am so it was nice."

So 2 of my family members had positive moments with DMX in the past 3 days, is he on a PR blitz?

I was really hoping for that George Zimmerman fight to pan out but cooler heads prevailed or whatever :(

MB of P-- maybe your family is trying to break it in gently to you that DMX is actually your dad and that's why he's been hanging around so much... I saw some preview clip of him on VH1's Couples Therapy and he's had kids with like 8 different women while married to the same woman so it's very possible he could be your dad or brother or something. I forget how all that works. Hope this helped narrow things down. Best to you!

Hey BRR, you sure you don't want to get a Facebook account and hang with us? My FB friend has been posting a bunch about how eggs "don't agree with my tummy". Just an example of the stuff you're missing out on! Best to you!

Come on, Andrew. I'm from Ireland and I live in a shed and have to crank a modem to get enough internet to do posts, but even I recognise a rapster who completely changed the game when I see one.

Just kidding about the ol' living situation. I live in a nice house with plush furnishings.

Edit: Freja that's incredibly funny.

Dang I wish my family got to hang out with DMX!!! Once Johnny Knoxville came into my brothers' work though so that's pretty neat but not as cool. No pictures of that as far as I know though, sorry scoop troop

Honlads I have been to Ireland!! I went there for a few weeks for college. Andrew I also was in England (Manchester) for about an hour because the Irish airports had too much snow. Do you go to the Manchester airport a lot? It seemed pretty cool from the window of my plane. You should check it out if you've never been. Cheers mate

ACTUALLY I spent most of the time in Limerick but we also stayed a few days in Galway and then a bit in Dublin too plus a few visits all around like Cork and places like that too. All of them very nice places. I did do touristy stuff like the Blarney Stone and Guinness factory and one time I tried to buy a beer with a credit card and the bartender went "ugh Americans" so sorry about that fellow Americans I am a shitty ambassador

I'm in agreement with everybody else that Andrew should be ashamed for not recognizing that person.

In an unrelated story, one time I was in a Banda dance club in mexico and a bunch of guys surrounded my old roommate Pedro, who is actually mexican but happens to somehow look whiter than me (He has blue eyes and blond hair). So these mexican dudes surround him and start pushing him back and forth calling him gringo and rather come to his aid and defend him I just joined in the circle and pushed him and called him gringo too.

I lived in Limerick a few years ago and went to college there before I dropped out. Now I'm going to a different college. It was a p cool time there. I've never been inside Blarney Castle or the Guinness factory. Sounds like that guy was a jerk and bad at his job, and holds negative stereotypes about Americans. Hmmmm this is problematic. Did you go to Kilkenny? Kilkenny's a great place, and I live there.

Hey cool! I took a class at Mary Immaculate College but it was this weird program where a teacher from my college came with us on the trip and taught the class, just in a different setting? Who knows. We may have stopped for a bit in Kilkenny to look at a castle but I don't think we spent much time there. It looks like a really cool city though from what I see here on google. When I go back someday I'll have to make it a point to stop there

also the bartender was ok I think he was just teasing AKA being cheeky as I like to say

The man clearly is on a better path, and there was no barking or requesting the location of his dogs. However, my sister said that she was looking down when he asked her, and recognized the voice immediately, he's still got the lovely sultry raspy voice. So X is A-OK in my book! Either that or he really is my Dad, which would explain why I have so many hitters and shottas!

I'm glad you all enjoyed this and maybe some of you have changed your minds about DMX.
