I really enjoyed this episode.

I've always retained a positive feeling towards Eddie Pepitone, partially as one of the CBB's that stuck with me most is the one with him, Reggie Watts and Harris Wittels. I adore any ep with Wittels anyway and loved the foam corner from that one, and Eddie's reactions to some of Harris' lines were great.

I also really enjoyed Eddie's Netflix special, one of the better specials I've seen recently.

I live in Edinburgh and am so gutted that I was unable to make it to his shows over here during the festival in August, terrible time to be skint.

 

I thought he brought a great energy into WhoCh and it felt like everyone was having fun, which is always nice to hear.

movies should only run in theaters for 4 weeks, and anybody who didn't see them in that timeframe doesn't deserve to. Brilliant notion guys, you should all work in the movie business.

And you're arguing that everyone (including celebrities providing you free entertainment) should censor themselves about a film they've seen and want to discuss simply because you haven't seen it yet? People are so precious about spoilers. Studies have shown knowing and not knowing do not greatly increase or decrease one's enjoyment of a story.

If people do not want something spoiled then it is their responsibility to avoid it because the entertainment in question is in the zeitgeist and people are going to talk, write, share, etc. If a podcast starts talking about a thing you do not want to know anything about before you experience it, stop the podcast or fast-forward like a motherfucker. I've done it before. It can be done.

 

In this spoiler-sensitive climate, plenty of shows that talk about spoilers make sure to give the alert. Eddie did not, he was not aware if it was anything, nor did what he say really impact what the effect of the film will have on people who go to see it. It is not a twist ending. It is a part of the overall plot. Rosebud was his sled.
