Episode 327 — Bang! Bang! Into Your Mouth!

Recommended Posts

Has wompler been on the tv show? I feel like she's a character who can't be done properly in live action.

they have both stated they've tried thinking of ways to incorporate her but they haven't thought of one yet. MY brilliant idea was maybe, since CBB has a lot of themed eps, they could do an animated version of her. Not sure if that's in the budget though.

I like Ben much more with another guest on and his only con with me is he can get overexcited and break into too many songs, which is whatever. he's still funny. I loved their attempts at Aladdin on this one and thank him for Comedy Bang Bang all in my mouth. I, for one, love that stupid song-well the Jessie J parts anyway.

I have no idea if the budget can stretch far enough (they've done the infrequent animated bit, though) but I can easily see Wompler done in a style similar to a Penny Cartoon on Pee-Wee's Playhouse.

Interestingly a friend of mine thinks PFT tries to dominate too much...

I like Benny, but I get the vibe that he's like the cocker spaniel in the old Warner bros cartoons who sucks up to the bulldog. He's trying too hard to impress. The only time I found he was overstepping his bounds here was whrn he suggested Kristin bell as Audrey even though scottobot clearly wanted Casey.

I haven't even listened to solo bolo, because j just don't know how it would work. I would definitely listen to a Solo Polo, however Scott and PFT realy have that Old Married Couple vibe. PFT is underrated as a jump seat guest, and I think Scott is genuine when he says he doesnt have "Paul" on enough.

Zouks is great as a jumpseat guest. One of favorite moments this year was when Zouks pressed Dabney in womptacular. I want to hear Scott and Zouks try to outdo each other with bad characs.

I love when he gets outraged. It seems genuine.

ahh I really like anytime Ben is on with Scott. I get the married couple vibe from PFT, but the vibe I get from Ben/Scotty Auks is somewhat of a "we just became friends in middle school and are perfect for each other (in a friendship way)". The energy they get to is what I feed off of as I sit in my car driving to and from work, and with PFT you don't so much get that. The Solo Polo vibe would be good for sipping tea or coffee while listening on a Sunday afternoon, but Solo Bolo or Ben+Horatio vibe is more like eternal madness.

No tangent is too far off, no dumb song parody is too dumb to continue, and they'll routinely say and do things to annoy each other but instead it just makes them laugh. Scott asking Horatio how he would drive to the place they are talking about, Scott pressing either of them for mundane details that have nothing to do with a story they are telling, Ben doing an annoying song in his annoying voice, Horatio slipping out of character or coming in too early, or playing with his big gulp too loudly near mic.

Don't know who she'll be playing but St. Clair is on the 4th season, so we've got that going for us, which is nice.

I dunno, I just get the feeling that Benny thinks of Scott as a big brother more than a peer. But it's all good.

I didn't like how Ben Shortz kept bragging about how he doesn't do any drugs. We get it, Ben! You're cool because you don't do drugs! God, give it a rest already.

I agree, and I immediately called bullshit simply because Raj is his best friend in the comedy world. How can you hang out, work, live in comedian/comedy writer circles and not at least have smoked some pot here and there? My guess is his relatives follow his stuff, maybe know he's on CBB and will be listening, and he wants to keep up this squeaky clean image to keep getting work on family CG movies

Hey, when it comes to talking about not doing drugs, even once is one time too many. Zero tolerance! Just say NO to talking about not doing drugs. Also, I thought he mentioned it twice, but I am wrong a whole lot.

I love how many times Scott has tried to make the "flippin' through vaginas" bit a thing since its original inception and how it goes completely unacknowledged or over everyone else's head every time...

Great EP!

The energy on this episode was contagious.

Ben Scwartz is human coke? Agreed, but he's cut with something.

"I have probably too many favorite guests when it comes to CBB but holy buckets Horatio has got to be right near the top. Any episode with him will have me laughing so hard wherever I am..."

This is exactly how I feel, which is why I'm left wandering in the cold shaking when he barely appears in best-of episodes.

Don't worry. Maybe Jenny Slate will be back soon to talk about how she smokes weed. Did you know she smokes weed? She should talk about it more just to remind people in case they've forgotten.

I'd have thought the perfect name for a Comedy Bang Bang porno version would be Comedy Gang Bang.

After that masterful 'House of Pies' sketch, I'm very disappointed that this ep isn't called, "You sausage-filled maniac!" or, "You big hunking- big dicked monster, you!", lol.

Also, being real here, I'm also disappointed that that excellent "House of Lies LIVE" HBO special Ben did last year wasn't called, "House of Pies" -- it was perfect! Scotty Auks handed you the perfect name on a platter and you turned it down! FOR. SHAME.
