AndrewGoll 1211 Posted May 12, 2016 Our favorite political talk radio show has now become a podcast here on Earwolf. So we don't forget those great "live" radio shows you heard when aired, please post your favorite live interviews/moments: Â I had a hard time myself coming up with one, when we all know they're so many! But one that jumps out at me, and was especially inspiring, was the "live" interview with Joseph McCarthy. We learned the best ways to turn in your closets friends and family. Also how easy it can be to sound or act like a Commi. And unfortunately for EVEN Mark, McCarthy's paranoia spotted some Commi in him... Classic McCarthy and classic ep. Â I'll also never forget Teddy Roosevelt ep. How they recorded the live radio show while heading to the hospital just after Teddy was shot in front of the Milwaukee Gilpatrick Hotel, I'll never know. Taking an interview while having just been shot, what a man! Â Can't wait to hear your favorites! 3 Share this post Link to post
Fabio's Socks 1822 Posted May 12, 2016 The episode with Lincoln and Douglas in the midst of their famous debate tour was a pretty influential episode for me. Granted, it was a little choppy because they had to actually run alongside the train and ask the questions to Lincoln and Douglas as they hung out the back of the caboose. But that couldn't dampen the insight from two great forces in American history. I still think the questions were a little softer on Douglas, though, and I do somewhat blame that for deciding the election 2 Share this post Link to post
Jack Johnson P.I. 3649 Posted May 13, 2016 I listened to the Gabrus ep and loved it. I feel like HN is one of those shows that I subscribe to but only download if I like the guest. I'm gonna listen to a couple more eps though because honestly I've been pretty stoned when I listen and the whole concept of the show is a little shady too me  looking forward to these recommendations 2 Share this post Link to post

blobofsoul 504 Posted May 13, 2016 i have a soft spot for the hellen keller 'interview' which mike hard demanded be conducted at gun point as a safety measure, where he alternated between (unsuccessfully) reciting bible verses from memory trying to expel her socialism, and whittling woodrow wilsons wiener. 1 Share this post Link to post
