This is the film that tries to pay homage to Bringing Up Baby but fails miserably as Madonna and Griffin Dunne did not have the chemistry that Katharine Hepburn and Cary Grant shared in the earlier film. Also directed by James Foley, who previously directed Madonna's then-husband Sean Penn in the far superior At Close Range the year before.

Madonna as a street smart woman falsely accused of murder who stirs up the boring life of a tax attorney charged with getting her on a bus back to Philadelphia. Chaos ensues as they of course solve the crime and fall in love.  Liked it as a kid and it Does Not Hold Up!

This is her shittiest movie (and that's saying something.) Who cares if her fans wouldn't accept it as being bad... it doesn't even have cult status.
In the vein of Glitter and Burlesque. She's ridiculous (yet gorgeous) but the movie is a big cartoony fiasco.
