Type "Samurai Cop horny nurse" into youtube. Watch the video and prepare to be hooked. This is the best bad movie I've ever seen. I'm not sure why it doesn't have much of a following. I Netflix-ed it and watched it 4 times in 2 days. There isn't any down time in this. Every second is filled with shitty awesomeness.

I know I am probably beating a dead horse, but Samurai Cop is the greatest terrible movie ever made. It is transcendental in its badness. Its an example of how cocaine can effect creativity when it's a principal factor in the production of a movie from inception to release.

i just discovered this last year, ever since it has joined the ranks of Birdemic, Silent Night Deadly Night Part 2, Deadly Prey, etc.

so quotable, and the black cop has the greatest reaction facial expressions in all of cinema.

Just watched this movie and....wow! Where does one begin??? Do you start with the Beverly Hills Cop musical score rip-off? The awesome mullets? The radically insane cliche black side-kick? Did I mention the mullets? The 80's boobs? The horrifIcly choreographed fight scenes? The overdubbing? This beautifully captured piece of 80's cinema has it all and so much more! You guys have to talk about this one!!!!!!!!!

I came to post this movie.. did a search and will just bump it instead.. People have mentioned this movie along with others, i really believe this is in its own class. Its easily the best bad movie ever made.. hell just the imdb comments made me have to see this.. would kill to hear a episode of how did this get made for this movie..

Love the guys fake tan. he's kinda like macgyver. it seems to have the same bad movie sound track that A movie I recommend called the taint has. I wounder if it's public domain music.. This looks like a movie you would be waiting for a sex scene to start. but never get delivered, the acting is that level of acting.

Please do! It's sooo good. I found out about it on a Robert Z'Dar thread a long time ago on some b-movie forum. Let us know what you think. I actually just watched this for like the tenth time last night while doing laundry. Aaaand...

 

If you can, watch the Joe Bob Briggs commentary version...MUAH! I grew up watching Joe Bob's show each Friday night on like USA channel or something. I'll bet I watched this one and didnt even know it.

YESSSSS. I don't know what version of the dvd is up on Amazon, but his commentary is much more erudite and hilarious than you'd expect. It's easily on the level of a very good MST3k episode.

 

Joe Bob is actually pretty intelligent; his whole persona is a put on and you can see you much he knows about the language of film if you read any of his books (or if you have the chance to hear his commentary for I Spit On Your Grave; his take on that is really interesting) . The dude's knowledge of b-movies is encyclopedic; he's the Ken Jennings of trash cinema. Seeing him on USA randomly as a kid (we never had cable) was a glimpse into a weird world of movies I had no access to.

 

Anyways, Samurai Cop rules and is easily in my top 10 of entertaining bad/good movies.

Just watched it tonight during my weekly b-movie get-together, fun stuff. I'd definitely put this on the list with other terrible b-movie action flicks like Miami Connection, Gymkata, Deadly Prey, etc. The dialog is crazy. Samurai Cop's hair constantly looks like a woman's wig. I also love how they clearly did things like car chases and sword fights by filming them slowly and then speeding up the tape so it looked fast. Also...

Oh it gets delivered alright. There are several super awkward sex scenes in this movie. Technically they never seem to actually be having sex though, just making out topless, and clasping hands and stroking chest hair.

 

This movie makes it seem like any woman just wants to fuck any guy. Women just come on out and ask guys if they want to fuck, while they're supposed to be doing their jobs.

 

Question: the promiscuous cop, when Z'dar is scalding her with the oil, he's pouring that on her crotch right? That's what it seemed like.

 

I loved the black cop, any time they cut away to him was golden.

 

Fun movie! Do recommend!
