Ah, "Top That..."

Or, as I like to call it, the whitest rap ever committed to film. (I especially like the line "Look how funky he is." It sounds like a line out of "Black Dynamite.")

Yes, this is a fantastic option. From the sexy/bizarre opening sequence set to porn jazz, to the truly disturbed and tragic brother, to lines like "Hey cheerleaders, I've got the new cheer!" ::cue insane locker-room musical number:: this movie is amazingly bad.

Plus it's on YouTube

This film is less of a "how did this get made?" and more of a "look how corny we used to be!"

The lead 'actress' in this movie looks a lot like the lead 'actress' from Soultaker.

The lead 'actress' is Robin Lively - best known as Lana from 'Twin Peaks' and as the older sister of 'Green Lantern' star Blake Lively.

I know 'top that' is the worst but this movie also has a musical number called 'We like boys'. It is terrible... Just like this movie.

I get this movie confused with The Worst Witch, which features Tim Curry (and much better music)

Id settle for a reenactment of the top that scene.

Id assume Paul would be the dancer, since hes clearly the funkiest, but who would the others be?

I love this movie so much and would be so happy if they did this. Top That is an incredible song but my favorite is definitely Most Popular Girl, if only for all the sassy hair flips:

I feel like if, in 1989, someone tried to turn all of the contemporary pop culture garbage into a single movie, this would be the result.

This film has top be done! I only watched it for the first time the other day. My fiancee grew up with it. I honestly loved every minute. It makes no sense whatsoever. She doesn't ever really do anything witch-y, the moral lesson is to dress cooler and stop being a dork. Is it a musical? Can anyone really be that funky?
