The video of a listener telling her best story on Thursday's live show had me thinking that maybe this video of a guy telling a good story will also work...

A guy talking about going on a super racist field trip.

This is satire, but it's a guy doing an experiment proving that condoms don't protect from aids. I linked it at around 1:12 because that's when it starts. It's more of a visual clip though so it might only work for the VPN thing but I thought it was worth posting anyways.

This is a 20-minute student film/documentary, from 1996, about a group of "dirty girls" (female punk fans) in 8th grade at some American high school. For some reason I find it all fascinating, probably the mix of a quite serious filming style and the ridiculous commentary from the interviewees. There are good sections all over but I'd say if you don't find anything interesting from the first 3 minutes then you probably won't from any of it. (e: actually about 10:30 when they read a zine made by the girls might be the best)

Mac Demarco is a young Canadian musician. I really love his music and I went to his show at Empty Bottle in Chicago recently and it was maybe the funnest show I've been to in over 5 years. Saying that, I thought the interview answers he gives in the video below (particularly to a question about previous jobs and the dumbest thing he's done on stage 1:29-3:29 ) would make for good fodder for improvisation on the show.

Thanks,

Josh
