Cant believe no one has suggested this after they did Zardos. This is a classic/cult low budget ish british sci fi sword and sorcery movie from 1980. This is def one of those its so bad its good. Described as a poor man's Willow with a dash of Krull (both classics imho).

Hawk the Slayer, it's got fantasy movie mainstay Jack Palance, also the dad from LOST.

Why haven't they done this yet?

Good suggestion! I still have my VHS of this movie. Loved introducing this to people. Really fun, cheesy effects. I recall they use hula hoops for a sorcery effect at one point. Jack Palance is scenery-chewing monster as the villain. It's certainly a turd, but it's an endearing turd.
