JaimeGandarilla 85 Posted October 30, 2014 The original queercasters were pure magic, and some are still around, 8 to 10 years later, those are: Yeast Radio PNS Explosion Fox and the City and of course, The Rachel Maddow Show (yes, they publish it as a podcast daily) Share this post Link to post

Tehvin 93 Posted February 23, 2015 I unexpectedly really fell in love with The Worst Idea of All Time late last year. I'm a little squicked about sharing links to things I've written but this is relevant. "unexpectedly fell in love" is a good way to put it. My other non-Earwolf faves are - MBMBAM - The Read - Here Be Monsters - I Seem Fun - Startup 1 Share this post Link to post

My other non-Earwolf faves are - MBMBAM - The Read - Here Be Monsters - I Seem Fun - Startup Great read! I'm simultaneously dreading and anticipating the fact that those crazy bastards are apparently going to put themselves through the same 52 weeks of hell all over again, only with Sex and the City 2. 1 Share this post Link to post
Tehvin 93 Posted February 23, 2015 Great read! I'm simultaneously dreading and anticipating the fact that those crazy bastards are apparently going to put themselves through the same 52 weeks of hell all over again, only with Sex and the City 2. I saw that but - I mean that has to be a joke, right? I really hope so because they're really fun to listen to but another movie would just be a retread. No reason to spend their prime years in some kind of purgatory. Share this post Link to post
Jack Akimbo 70 Posted February 23, 2015 I saw that but - I mean that has to be a joke, right? I really hope so because they're really fun to listen to but another movie would just be a retread. No reason to spend their prime years in some kind of purgatory. It really does seem like such a ridiculous concept that it almost HAS to be a joke. What sane man would put himself through that again? Then again, these are the two men who already watched Grown Ups 2 weekly for 52 weeks straight out of their own free will in order to do a podcast. I'd put nothing past them. 1 Share this post Link to post
Butt Park 85 Posted February 26, 2015 Serial (obviously; I mean it did invent the genre of podcasting after all) Runners up: The Bone Zone The Dollop Cashing In with TJ Miller Mike and Tom Eat Snacks Kill Tony FOFOP (when Dave Anthony is the Guest Charlie; it's the closest thing to Walking the Room (RIP)) Ok confession time, I've never actually listened to Serial. But it's still my favorite. 1 Share this post Link to post
Tehvin 93 Posted February 26, 2015 Serial (obviously; I mean it did invent the genre of podcasting after all) OK look I know you are joking but let's not forget that Serial also invented the idea of telling a story in a chronologically ordered sequence. Before that every scene/segment were all separate entities and you just had to put them together in an order that made sense like those story-telling picture games for kids. Those were dark times. Brian_Eno 118 Posted May 26, 2015 I don't really have any favorites; I'm into soooo many it's like picking your favorite kid! So I'll just splay out a list. Blame it on outer space! (so underrated in fact one of the first podcasts I sub to; James Adomian has been on it at least once) Thrilling Adventure Hour Mike and Tom Eat Snacks (Great!) Judge John Hodgman Edumacation Any OTR (old time radio) stuff, I really love 50's era sci-fi stuff and things reminiscent of Twilight Zone it's hit or miss but when it hits it hits hard baby! Hacker Public Radio Fireside Mystery Theater Jim Harold's Campfire Tales Smodcast The Complete Guide to Everything Edit: Can't believe I forgot to add my newest love; The Biggest Problem in the Universe! it's amazing and super charged stuff! It's done by Maddox the Best Page in the Universe guy. That's not all I'm just getting tired of typing and/or copy pasting. In fact I now listen to podcasts more than I watch TV/Movies since you can listen while doing almost anything and remain fairly productive! Some shows I listen to depending on the guests like WTF, You Made it Weird, KHole (with Kurt Braunwlowlwerower) Share this post Link to post
