  1. Eardrop is the 100-calorie pack of Earwolf. It's just as deliciously hilarious as our other shows, but in a convenient travel size!
  2. The result of our Facebook poll is in! Did you get confused between the awesome comic and the terrible movie known as Jonah Hex? Did your vote for Mac & Me come with a large Coke and a side of fries? Or did you get invaded by the aliens of Skyline while completing the questionnaire? Whichever one you picked, it's time to watch it and send us the moral of the crappy, awful story!
  3. Kids, if we can teach you anything with this week's episode it's DON'T DO DRUGS! Or, if you do, totally lie about it. Or just go ahead and do them and tell the truth. Do you want to be 40 years-old eating Dove chocolates, trying to come up with Folgers theme song, moonlighting as a body double? No, you want to visit France and smoke a lot of pot and write a memoir about it! So listen to Drew, Margee, and Candace and light it up!
  4. This episode is dedicated to all the haters! If you're listening out there, you've been BLOCKED! Which is a shame, because you'll have to miss this great episode with Jay Mohr and Sam Elliott. Jay talks inside baseball about Hollywood, from the perks of filming a movie to secrets from the set of Sanford and Son. Sam Elliott is back with his famous catchphrases, as well as a big announcement regarding his future in literature. Be sure to pick up a HENDERSON! shirt from our store, and if you're at an IHOP with wifi, maybe check out Legal Zoom (you'll thank us later).
  5. Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to get through these things called Charts. Specifically, the iTunes Singles Chart, the Movie Chart, and Chart Goose. Paul F. Tompkins, one of the greats of living, lends his talents to a discussion of Adele's awesomeness, the flawed logic of Gwen Stefani's clothing line, and the evolution of The Black Eyed Peas. And yes, dear chartists, he DOES remix the beloved chart intros. Paul F. Tompkins, charts, what more could one want?

  13. When was the last time you visited YouTube? The video hosting site has become synonymous with internet media and has billions of visitors each month. Eric Meyerson is not only the marketing director for YouTube, but a true Earwolf fan, and he joins us on the Wolf Den to discuss the growing world of internet advertising. Plus, Jeff gives advice for those pursuing Earwolf internships and issues an invitation to comedy podcasters to be part of our new project.
  14. Have you ever wanted to be a fly on the wall in an Earwolf meeting? This week we decided to record a conversation between the developers, designers, engineers, and other hardworking Earwolves that are planning version two of our website. Learn what you can expect regarding forums, listener submitted content, and more. If you have any questions about the changes, or preferences regarding the ideas discussed, email us as always at thewolfden@earwolf.com
  15. The A.V. Club has long been the online home of early adopters, nerdcore fanboys, and any other pop culture geek you can think of. It is the sister site of the popular (maybe TOO popular) The Onion, and has recently branched out from television and movies to include podcast reviews. Kyle Ryan joins us to discuss how The A.V. Club has grown and how the new weekly feature Podmass figures into the site. If you haven't listened to Eardop yet, there are already several episodes out to get you as excited as Kyle is! Oh, and by the way, we were totally right about Dickie Noles.
  16. So far we've talked about podcast monetization with comedians, producers, journalists, and performers. This week we invite Scott MacDonell to bring his unique voice to the conversation. Scott is the VP of Marketing for www.legalzoom.com and he runs his own podcast, This Week in Marketing. Because of his involvement in both worlds, he can inform us about the pitching and pricing of podcast advertising, understanding a listener base, and how podcasting differs from radio and television.
  17. Marc Maron is a true pioneer when it comes to new media. He traveled from terrestrial radio through internet television and landed in the podcast world with WTF with Marc Maron. Marc brings the honesty and frankness that he is famous for to The Wolf Den, be it discussing what he sees as the future of podcasting, how his show has become a business or how WTF is the best thing he's ever done. Visit www.wtfpod.com to hear his interviews with Scott Aukerman, The Sklar Brothers, Paul Scheer, and other Earwolf favorites.
  18. Our visitor this week is Cole Stratton; a comedian, podcaster, and one of the founders of S.F. Sketchfest. Cole has a unique insight into what it takes to put on a live podcast, and how comedy festivals such as his are adapting to the growth of the medium. He and Jeff discuss the tricky subject of podcast monetization and how social media sites like Twitter can affect a budding show. You can hear Earwolf personalities such as Paul Scheer and The Sklar Brothers on his show Pop My Culture
  19. Doug Benson was one of the first comics to explore the world of podcasting. While his show has changed networks, formats, and even names, Doug Loves Movies has stayed on the top of the comedy podcasting charts through it all. In this episode of The Wolf Den, he and Jeff discuss getting the attention of advertisers, booking guests, and where the medium is headed. Podcasting fans, as well as creative people of all types, will enjoy hearing how he balances his job as an entertainer and as a businessman.
  20. Happy 4/20 Chartists! We picked out a really dank guest for this holiday, the hilarious Brian Posehn. We hope you celebrate the occasion with some heavy metal (none of these wimpy 'Rock' songs from this episode), a few kid-friendly movies (whatever you do, don't try the popcorn trick), and finish it up with a round of darts! Listen closely for a chart surprise, a killer Kulap impression, and one of the most controversial charts to date (about candy, no less). Put down the Lady Gaga and pick up Who Charted?
  21. This week's guest is one of the most beautiful, charming women working in comedy right now: Hermes the Chart Goose! Oh, and Casey Wilson (who you might know as Eminem's girlfriend) stops by as well. The music chart of the week is Albums and you'll be surprised at the overwhelming positivity it brings with it. Hear the enthralling tale of Casey's caffeine intake, learn tips from Casey and Howard on how to fly with ease, and experience some of the best space work in all of podcasting this week on Who Charted?
  22. If you saw the Friday music video this weekend and are wondering what to think of it, this is the Who Charted? for you! Kulap, Howard, and special guest Matt Braunger talk about movies and hip-hop, specifically today's hottest new hip-hop star Rebecca Black. Matt drops some knowledge about the bible, the universe, and the Daggerhorn athletic franchises. As if that wasn't enough, we have chart roulette! Grab a banana and your best friend Rick and listen to WHO CHARTED?!
  23. Grab some cheddar bay biscuits, because it's time for Who Charted?! Our guest this week is Rob Corddry who is best recognized from Childrens Hospital, The Daily Show, and from role playing Beauty and the Beast. Rob shows off a surprising interest in dance club music, a shocking criminal record, and uniquely fond memories of Boy Scout camp. After researching the definition of 'rubric', Rob is embarrased that he still doesn't know what it means. Chart Darts is here again, as well as the Chart Mutation. Check our Earwolf show page to hear an exclusive bonus chart featuring timeless films of the past.
  24. We have three guests this week: Howard's brother, the ghost of Frank Sinatra, and Jen Kirkman. When Jen isn't drinking wine, writing on NBC, or studying American History, she's trying to figure out band names and movie plots with Howard and Kulap. We have our very first Alternative Music chart, plus movies and chart roulette. Listen for Jen's advice on how to make a terrible song enjoyable, and visit Earwolf to hear this week's stereo-pumping music chart.
  25. Coming in at number one on our volleyball-loving Greek comedian chart is ZACH GALIFIANAKIS! Zach and his trusty Vespa traversed through the rough terrain to make it to the Who Charted base camp. He tells us some Bieber secrets in the Top Singles chart, tries to figure out Gnomeo and Juliet in the movies chart, and plays an ultra-personal round of Chart Roulette! If you've been wondering what Zach smells like, or what kind of music he dances to, wait no longer. And check out the Who Charted? show page on Earwolf for Howard and Kulap's personal charts!
