Correction to a correction:
While this movie plays as fast and loose with geography as it does seismology, the second blimp doesn't go from "Silicon Valley to the Golden Gate Bridge...in a matter of minutes." When water is trickling in through the tunnel ceiling, the job site foreman says that they are directly underneath San Andreas Lake. The northern tip of the lake is only 13 miles from the Golden Gate Bridge, a long distance for a blimp to cover so quickly but not as absurd as the length of the whole Peninsula.
