  1. When the singing starts it is Sammy David Jr doing a bit where it is only his drummers as he sings a medley of songs with some improvisation. He usually incorporated Sinatra's I've got you under my skin at some point. So it is even stranger as he is lip syncing to a piece from 50-60 years in the past.

  2. Listening to the questions about a Spaceballs connection I went looking but couldn't find much about locations or the like... However, I did find that they shared the same editor. The films were released about a year apart and were made by the same company so I wouldn't be surprised if they reused stuff to save money.

  3. Did anyone else see Kurt Russels character WINK at Vin Diesels during his death scene. What the fuck was that all about?

He was winking because he's wearing body armor. He didn't die either, they leave him on the side of the road to be picked up by a helicopter. A helicopter you not only hear coming, but Dom turns to look at over his shoulder(we see it too). He mentioned he had SOCOM medics coming to pick him up when they were in the car.

  4. As for Dom lifting the Hypercar. Many of those kinds of cars will be insanely light. Add in the fulcrum effect from only lifting the back and using the front wheels as a pivot point and he's lifting even less weight. There is still one factor that makes it at least somewhat unrealistic that Vin Diesel could lift the car, it is bullet-proof. Bullet-proofing adds a decent amount of weight typically as armor isn't light.

  5. Am I the only one who noticed how close the cars were when they pulled up for the races only to be spaced much further apart when they actually raced? Their initial spacing is so close they would kill the cute girls who start the races. Every. Single. Time. I know it's probably for some cinematic reasons as far as framing a picture or whatever, but it bothers me to no end.
