apparently the first AC on the film accidently destroyed the film 3 times during that scene where sean connery is in the wedding dress. He hated that scene and chased the cameraman out of town after having to refilm it so many times

This is one of those movies that i think everyone should watch, most wont like it but everyone should at least view it

He says on the commentary that sean connery did zardoz because he couldn't find work after playing bond. He agreed to do this film for basically no pay just to be out there acting again.

I made another post about this, but, this movie needs to be watched with the commentary track on, its amazing!!

Holy crap, has anyone here ever listened to the directors commentary from "zardoz" if not YOU NEED TO DO THIS IMMEDIATELY. He tried to explain the movie, but at the same time tells amazing stories about how sean connery accidently shot him in the head with a blank when a bullet exploded and when sean connery chased the camera man out of town because he kept destroying the film by accident. Anyways, this is a must see if you've already seen zardoz and want to be even more confused about it or just want to know WTF john boorman was thinking as he made this movie.
