This looks like something I should attend, and it's not even in East Nashville so I'm cool enough to be there. I should also mention for those of you that don't care... Faux Ferocious is a good Nashville band, they even made commercial... AND that Step Sisters is really guys and they drink at the bar where I also drink. -

I've always thought of JMonsterface as more of a Chinese Remainder Theorem kind of guy. -

Hi everyone, you can stop wondering... I finally did it. I finished Mad Men. Turns out, not funny. -
Episode 84 — Moments of Greatness, Our Constant Companions
LydonBergin replied to agata's topic in Hollywood Handbook
Hi forum people I was really funny at work today and made everyone buss up laugh their whole butts off. I can't tell you what it was about because it's not funny now, but trust me, at the time y'all all would have been like "woah what happened to my butt" and I would have probably made a real good joke about bbq because homographs and I was on a roll (like margarine). -

I would like to hear Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer from the Comedy Center show, Broad's City. They come from that UCB background so you know they be makin that funny good show. Maron would suck the fun out of the room, it's what he does. -

I was thinking about it and I think the single hardest I've ever laughed at the p-cast (podcast) is the first time that Mark's day job was revealed. -

Thank you ADC, this is all I've ever wanted. In reality though, I wouldn't get that close to a bear. I have too much invested in honey. -

Glad I get to go into work late tomorrow. Edit: Alcohol is in chronological order, starting at 10:30 PM and ending at ~2:00 AM. -
I'll try to be helpful to the CBB faithful who want more Hayes & Sean but hate Hollywood Handbook fans cult members. Here are a couple of episodes with great table reads similar to CBB: The Movie. Brian Huskey, Our Close Friend. They read a script called "Teen Pope" about a teenager, who becomes the pope. Pretty great. http://earwolf.com/e...r-close-friend/ Paul Scheer, Our Close Friend. They read a script called "So it looks like I married a Van Helsing" which is also pretty great. http://www.earwolf.c...r-close-friend/

Episode 83 — Nick Kroll, Our Close Friend
LydonBergin replied to agata's topic in Hollywood Handbook
This is a solid best-of ep. Edit: This is my 25th post, is it time for me to renegotiate? -
Who would you like to be guests on CBB alongside Hayes and Sean?
LydonBergin replied to Jerk Skellington's topic in Hollywood Handbook
I would bet it will be a PFT character. He really seems to be at the center of the recent push for HHB, starting when they got a CBB ad (I believe) the day before the PFT, Again episode. And he had a really nice write-up on his turntable about it http://paulftompkins.com/post/107997708199/i-am-the-first-return-guest-to-one-of-my-absolute. He seems to be a really big fan. I would think he might be the actual A Bear if I didn't know that was JMonsterface. -

I think Jacob C just upped himself (no, that's not slang) to a B- To catch you up Jakal - Jacob said something and some people got mad and some people didn't care. It was a true whirlywind. -

EPISODE 82 — Neil Casey, Our Close Friend
LydonBergin replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Hollywood Handbook
This was a good ep that I listened to on Tuesday and it was good but I haven't had a chance to get on the forums yet. It was my failure, not yours. Especially VB, your short story was great. I didn't know RanRan had the same leanings as Mary Holland before your story enlightened me. Neil Casey has a funny scene as an accountant in Broad City (and that's a great show if you haven't watched it). I believe he's also the guy Clem Dawg is pitching at in at least one of the Pitchin' Nightmares on YouTube (also funny). Next week will be the big week. I feel it. If Sean has to leave and is replaced by Verbatim Vic, who will replace Hayes? -
EPISODE 81 — Alex Anfanger and Jon Bass, Our Close Friends
LydonBergin replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Hollywood Handbook
devscoots, if my math checks out its roughly Tuesday morning there -- that being the case, who was the guest on the show that we didn't get to ask popcorn gallery questions to? Full disclosure, I have no idea how time zones work. Edit: I ended a sentence with a preposition. English be damned. -
EPISODE 81 — Alex Anfanger and Jon Bass, Our Close Friends
LydonBergin replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Hollywood Handbook
devscoots, did you see the Inherent Vice? I watched it with a friend last night and of course I understood it cause it's good. But my friend didn't understand it. So you don't have to explain it to me, because I definitely got it, but can you explain it for my friend? -
EPISODE 81 — Alex Anfanger and Jon Bass, Our Close Friends
LydonBergin replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Hollywood Handbook
Well... I would NEVER talk about this (I don't think I've ever even brought it up) but my name is Lydon and you say it like Lie-Done just like it looks, but because I'm so special and cool and people don't get it, everyone calls my Lyndon at first. But again, I would NEVER bring this up, and certainly wouldn't threaten to go to war with a handsome man like JMcG over it, because I'm pretty nice really. And my picture is this old dude named Lyndon because I'm facing my fears.
