Haven't you done this more than once in previous threads? Totally not saying that to discourage you from doing it here. I just think it's funny that it keeps coming up. -

This is a damn fine joke, and I have nothing to add to it. I just wanted to tell you that I appreciated it, even if no one else did. -

I think they meant the film Labyrinth. Unless you were saying happy birthday to that, and I'm just an asshole. -

Has anyone brought up why the fuck she was in that rando street market to start with? Like, restaurants don't just go shopping for ingredients. They have suppliers that deliver their ingredients - usually at wholesale prices. Is she waking up and going to buy shit for her restaurant every morning? How much is she paying in food costs? Is this why her restaurant is failing? Like, could all of this be resolved if she just called fucking Sysco? -

Does no one else think his hair looks greasy and gross? I love the character, but I just don't get it. Now, when he cleans up like in High-Rise or that awful Guillermo Del Toro movie, I totally see it. -

This was one of my favorite parts of the episode. When she revealed it was on a RHOC blog, I thought, "Of course it was." T-to-B, it was such an endearingly June story. -

You never tell me you like what I bring to the table anymore. WHAT'S HAPPENING TO US, CAMERON?! -

The purpose was called "the late 90s." This was a pretty common hair color/style at the time. -

Speaking of the plates, they didn't really look like something that would be used in that kind of restaurant. Or any restaurant. They look like the kind of plates that old ladies hang on the wall. -

I really want a supercut of June saying "Gyooby." I went back and listened to that episode recently, and it's never fails to make me laugh. -

Don't lie. You're talking about the cafe at Target, aren't you? -

My "this week in feminism" contribution was going to be about how utterly 90s it is for a woman to trick a man into loving her with one of the only things they can clearly do well (according to 90s pop culture): cooking! -

Welcome! We generally just bullshit around in the minisode thread and save our thoughts and discussion about the movie for the main ep thread. It's not a rule or anything; it's just the way it's naturally worked out. For me, I got tired of posting stuff in the minisode thread and then repeating it in the main thread. Plus, all of us idiots that post here regularly have gotten to know each other, and it's fun to just fuck around with your online friends. But again, it's not a hard, fast rule or anything, so please don't ever feel like you CAN'T talk about the movie in a minisode thread. ---- On a completely different note, JUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNE! So happy she's in this one, and I can't wait to hear what she had to say about the wardrobe in this movie. I feel like 2/3 of my notes were stuff like, "This is the most 90s outfit I've ever seen" and "No wait, this one is more 90s." -
I never look at Amazon ratings before the episodes drop because I like being so fucking baffled by Second Opinions. But I did with this movie, because I was like, "What the fuck can anyone say to defend this movie?" Then I saw this: Now I'm curious what the breakdown of other shithole movies have been.

Oh, he was way worse than usual. And even hackier. The first thing he did when he came out was make a racist joke. Then a fat shaming joke. Then the same fat shaming joke two more times before he backpedaled and tried to say it was a different joke. Then he just flat out said "You know wrestling's fake" to Colt. He's such a colossal piece of shit. I guess at least he didn't creep on a rando audience lady this time?
-
Do you listen to Doug Loves Movies, by chance? Colt Cabana was on this week, and he threatened to powerbomb one of Doug's most annoying recurring guests. It was glorious.

Nothing to do with Boondocks Saints, but I'd be remiss if I didn't say... Shithead.
-
Also, Sean Patrick Flannery was fucking Powder, bro. (And Young Indiana Jones)
-
False. That's one of those movies all my friends tried to get me to see in high school. "Oh, you're into violent indie films. Boondock Saints is the best! You'll love it!" I bought it on VHS for $4 at a Blockbuster Video (yes, that's a very old and outdated sentence). And I hated every second of it. I love genre film, but that one just feels like someone watched Tarantino and was like, "Oh, I'm going to do that but without any of the story elements or characterization that makes early Tarantino interesting." "Well, what will you replace it with?" "I don't know. Just add in even more fucks. IT'LL BE HILARIOUS!"
-
If I say I don't like it, is it the same as opening up the classic vs new HDTGM theme debate? I don't want anything to do with that show just because I hate the way the Turtles look.

I feel like that's probably an adequate description of Scott Baio's life. Side note: That guy's a total piece of shit.
