Here's an omission (or at least I think that's what this is. First time, guys. My fault.)
Y'all talked about how frequently Travolta - the Sean Archer character, whether Travolta or Cage, really - "face waterfalls" people. This is for sure a thing. He's face waterfalling everybody. Except himself, ever. To me, what was maybe the weirdest scene in a weird fucking movie was the part where Travolta has just put Cage's face... on and leans into a stucco wall to itch his face (he is shackled) and his partner/one of the only people who knows he has had this operation asks him what's the matter. Cage as Travolta says his face itches, and so his partner itches it for him. It's just odd. There's no other mention of these new faces being itchy, really, and this just seems like another opportunity for someone to get his face touched.
