  1. I hadn't, thanks for sharing. Beautiful!

I think this video calls to mind the great of selection of musical guests that appeared on CBB this year. Scott has some excellent musical taste and this show has introduced me to some artists that I may have otherwise not had the pleasure of listening to.

Some of my favorite performances/artists of the year:

American Football (their whole CBB performance is available in one compilation video on Youtube)

Diane Coffee (His performance of Not That Easy on CBB was particularly beautiful and soulful)

John Grant (one of my favorites): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-GAwjijsX8

    Stars (one of my favorites:

  2. This episode maybe should have had a trigger warning. Jon Daly's character not only describes the final scene in Pulp Fiction, but also gives the name of a person who gets murdered in the movie "Milk". Just hits a little too close to spoiler territory, and I personally have very a negative reaction to spoilers

I would have preferred a spoiler alert and then 30 minute podcast delay.

  3. maybe the best episode ever of pft off-mic laffs.

This is saying A LOT after PFT's off-mic explosion from Maxwell Keeper's "I LOVEEEEEEE YOU!" in the anniversary episode.

I have never quite voiced this opinion on the forums, but I believe that PFT's off-mic laughter may be the best part of his CBB's appearances, perhaps more than any of his character performances (especially when directed towards Scott). His genuine enjoyment for Scott's weird quirks and manner of speaking ("Scott-isms") is reaffirming and infectious.

  4. I don't think there was any beef. They just wanted to do it on their own. But now I kinda miss getting new Hooray Show episodes every Wednesday.

As a slight aside, the Hooray Show episodes with Hanford and Mike Mitchell were some of the best listens of the year so far for me.

  5. This episode taught me that the spirit of giving is still alive in today's fast-paced society. Here are 2 guys - both successful entertainment industry figures, who bought tickets to 2 U2 concerts. They ended up getting hooked up with free VIP tickets for both nights, and somehow were able to find it within their hearts to sell their old tickets for a mere $175 to some kids.

The kindness and generosity that Scott displayed nearly moved me to tears. Nearly. I did NOT cry. OK?

Is this an episode of Talkin' About Money?
