Snubs/flubs? I was really hoping Government Pizza and It's Great didn't make the list. Also I'm surprised Shut the Fuck Door! isn't on there either. But super happy with the list overall.

All the chatter on Twitter about Jill came immediately after the release of that ep on October 13. This is 100% speculation on my part, but it's possible the segment was edited out after the fact due to concerns about California's strict "two-party consent" laws for recorded phone calls. Sorry!
Holy cow, what a bummer. Good sleuthing though, your fellow Alene appreciates it.

I haven't listened to it to confirm, but I believe it's #45 Shamrocks and Shockwaves.
It's not though! Did the episode get removed?!
-
I've been looking forever and just can't find it: when do they call Jill?!

This lady thinks she can convince a bear not to eat her kayak. She is incorrect in that assumption.

Ok, I know there's a pretty big visual component here, but it's too ridiculous not to share. Pastor knocks down half his congregation with "the holy ghost."https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVG98f8NL5g

Does crap on Vimeo work? This video is so unbelievably pretentious, I kept waiting for the big reveal that it's a parody, but no: it's sincere.

Mariah Carey schools her backup singers without missing a beat. 2:16-2:30

This pastor encourages his church to tell everyone, "F you." It really picks up around the one minute mark and ends around 2:10.

Lately, maybe the last few weeks or so, I can't seem to keep any Earwolf page open in Chrome. The site lags, freezes, crashes. My computer hasn't changed, I'm wondering if maybe it's the ads? Anyone else having a problem?

I feel like I'm missing a reference, but I like it.

The last line is a real old school joke
Q: How do you get to Carnegie Hall?
A: Practice!
Â
The rest is just make-em-ups, I believe. Our Spontaneanational anthem.

The official lyrics to the Spontaneanation theme song:
Â
The challenge that lays before our eyes
We rise to greet a brand new morning
We fight and rise and fight and greet a new day's morn
And that is how you get to Carnegie Hall.

Seriously, these episodes have been such a delight. And even though it wasn't really a surprise, the way Scott revealed the #1 was super adorable. Good voting, everybody, and huge thanks to PFT and Choctaw for making it happen.
Â
Also Auld Lang Syne made me tear up and then laugh out loud. Make a pizza.

Everyone singing Happy Birthday to Hal made me smile, it was so genuine and sweet. And pretty tight harmonies.

I was excited to see the documentary Ravi Patel made, but this interview diminished it a bit. Not my favorite guy.
Â
But super glad to have Mr. Tallman on another episode, hilarious.

I was laughing out loud, crying with laughter, and also obligatorily holding my hand over my heart during Atherton's anthem. So, so damn good.

I'm kind of frustrated by hosts advertising features of Howl that aren't available yet, like HDTGM referenced "hidden" episodes only available in the Howl.fm archives. It's odd that even though a huge part of the site (the archives) isn't ready yet, they are ready to charge me for premium membership.
-
When the humans joined in on the last song, I couldn't help smiling. That sounded like people having a lot of fun.

I really wish shows would stop advertising HOWL.FM while it's not fully functioning. HDTGM was promoting their "secret" shows available on HOWL, but the archives are not working - it's irritating. Plus it's going to feel real uncomfortable to pay $5 a month without the ad-free, remastered archives available, as was advertised.

Also that egg laying dildo is fucking gross

Yeah, that's a real specific interest. Interview with the fella who champions it here: http://www.vice.com/read/the-emerging-fetish-of-laying-alien-eggs-inside-yourself

Can we comment on Case Closed? When I was in retail, even if there was a typo or something advertising a certain price we had to give that customer the advertised price. Is food service so different? I mean, the MOD can always change the price on the register.
