What's crazy is that the castle they are in is actually Greyskull, the castle that the Sorcress lives in. I don't know why she had so many evil looking skull motiffs all around because it really does look like it should be Skeletor's castle. Jason's comment about Skeletor looking like Jack Palace had me almost crying. The whole time I kept thinking he looked like someone else haha. The plot of the movie is fairly bland and is just covered in one monologue by Skeletor. Basically he got the key from Grilldor and used it to teleport his soldiers inside Greyskull and quickly took it over. He was going to inherit the cosmic power from the Sorceress when the Eye opened at moonrise (why it opens then isn't said). That's the basic plot. He never mentions that he needs He-man for any of this so I'm not sure why he didn't just kill him when he had him chained up.

I think everyone missed an important issue. Norris' mom is having a stroke in the tree planting scene. She just randomly begins spouting facts about hitler (and says he was "probably" one of the biggest racist ever? I'd go ahead and say definitely). She needs to be rushed to a hospital immediately.

It is definitely an entry into the Nic Cage Crazy Hair Cannon.

Just watched this. It's not good, but I don't think its got enough meat on the bone for a HDTGM. It's just a shitty reboot attempt of a franchise. I would say this is just a bad movie, not a so bad it's good movie. Just another sub-par action flick.

This is a must. It has just enough what the fuck moments and absurd dialogue to put it in the same category as Deep Blue Sea. Just you know without the sharks. But with the Tucc so that's a win. Everything about this movie screams HDTGM. Plus I would love to hear June try and decipher one of the silliest plots yet.

Face Off is a terrible movie, but infinitely watchable. Same for Con Air. Those are two movies that epitomize the "so bad its good" genre.

The problem with Sandler is his bad movies are just plain bad and not enjoyable. Usually when a comedy is bad its just not any fun to watch at all.
