  1.

I'm going to go with "never heard" it. Looks like that ep came out right before CBB podcasts became a regular part of my work commute.

RT this comment if you want me to listen to that ep and risk a possible emotional breakdown. Fave this comment if you think I should not listen to that ep and leave well enough alone.

You should definitely listen to it, it's a great episode. Just be mindful of 59:47 - 1:00:07.

  2. Maybe it's just me, but for me I was cringing every time Comedy Band! Band! started to veer towards "not that kind of show" territory with Weirdo Al in the studio.

That guy has managed to maintain a PG-13 reputation in my mind, and I'm afraid of what it would do to my perception of him if he got into any greater detail about exactly what Sir Mix-A-Lot wanted the various ladies of the world to put on the proverbial glass. "Pee" and "poo" jokes were about the limit that I could process without having to totally reconsider who and what he is. No idea what I would've done if I'd heard him go blue.

I'm super-thrilled with the news that Weirdo Al is the co-host and music guy for the TV show. I'm super-bummed to be one of the jerks who doesn't get IFC and has to wait until the eps come out on Netflix.

CBJones, no it's not just you.

Oh boy...um, you guys are either forgetting or never heard Weird Al's ghost joke from episode 280.

  3. If I knew for a fact that a not-so-great bit from a comedy podcast message board could lead to a straight-to-Syfy horror anthology franchise, no matter how shitty, I'd Yes And every premise under the goddamn sun. Just to know I had that power.

In a world where Donald Trump has a chance at becoming president, you COULD very well have that power. Tell you what, if any of this stuff comes true, I owe you a Coke, and you promise to smother me with a pillow. Deal?

  4. Sorry, I was Yes And-ing the idea that Creepshow 2 is my favorite movie. I will bring up Creepshow 3 again, but only in order to say that it is a COLOSSAL piece of shit.

It's cool, it's cool. Just be careful what you Yes, And from now on. Someone could have thought you were serious and greenlit Creepshow 4. Then, SyFy buys the rights and makes a new one every year, Uwe Boll comes out of retirement just to direct Creepshow sequels, and before you know it, BOOM, mass genocide. You could have started quite the buttercream effect. We should probably stock up on ether and rags now just in case that ever happens.

  5. Yeah, that's right. Rounding out my top five are Tales from the Darkside: The Movie, Trick 'R Treat, and Creepshow III (yes, it exists).

Heynongman, no one needs to be reminded that Creepshow 3 exists. I'm trying to eat over here. You can replace that with Tales from the Crypt, Vault of Horror, Twilight Zone: The Movie, or hell, From a Whisper to a Scream if you want to get into the deeper cuts. Don't ever bring up that movie...nay, ABOMINATION again, I beg of you.

Pretty much this! My one rule has always been basically no personal attacks against hosts, guests, or other posters. You can cuss and argue and do whatever you want, but if name calling starts you will lose posting privileges for 2 weeks,

Thankfully, in my 3 years moderating here I've only had to do this a handful of times. People here are generally pretty damn cool.

    Happy posting!

Yeah, I've been lurking here for awhile and everyone seemed so nice that I finally decided to join. Thanks!
