did anyone else connect Chon Li in Blood Sport and Chun Li in Street Fighter? i thought it was funny that both characters have near-identical names, are both JCVD movies and are street fighters... thats where the connections end as far as i can figure- just thought it was funny.

when the "eat my shorts" line was mentioned, i don't think it had to do with The Simpsons at the time, but the fact that Breakfast Club came out the previous year and Emilio Estevez stared in both. i think it was probably a nod to that.
