Ugh, this movie...
The film about alien abductions where you really don't get to see any aliens at all. There is an owl though.
There is also a very ill-advised tactic used to create a sense of realism by claiming that some of the footage in the movie is actual video of strange things happening during psychiatry sessions. Obviously none of it is real, thus you realize you're watching a split screen where on one side you're seeing a group of actors act out a scene, while on the other side of the screen you're seeing...a group of actors act out a scene, just on lower quality video that gets all scrambled whenever something interesting starts to happen. It doesn't work, none of it works, and I don't know why they made it this way or even why they made it at all.
Maybe it's not quite bonkers enough for your show, but I certainly was left wondering "how did this get made??"
