    Episode 140.5 - Minisode 140.5

What's everyone's guess at the guest for the "Showgirls" ep? Do you think it's someone from the movie? If not, I sure hope it's Nick Kroll. He was great on "Burlesque," which is "Showgirls" uglier sister. Congratulations to you and your wife on your upcoming baby, Cameron H.!

    Tammy & The T-Rex (1994)

I want to put in a plug for this movie, too. Made from the same director as "Mac and Me" and "Mannequin 2: On the Move." Terry Kiser is in it. AND - we can look for the pink Cadillac! Please, please, please!!
  4. "Ooh, we gotta put some gennies on these mannies!" I almost died. Just this whole episode.

    Episode 139.5 - Minisode 139.5

Just finished my first ever watch of "Mannequin 2" (never saw "Mannequin"). Observations: -Kristy Swanson looks A LOT like January Jones. A LOT -The filmmakers stole from were inspired by "Splash" and "The Princess Bride" -Meshach Taylor is funny in this movie, and it sucks he's gone -I actually liked this movie

Who have been your favorite guests?

Kumail Nanjiani is great, too. His laugh alone warrants another guest gig.

    The Crush (1993)

Yes!!! She lights about 100 candles in the span of 2 minutes. This movie is waiting to be HDTGM'd!! Bad movie tropes - wasps, photography, camp counselors... This is a great suggestion.

Who have been your favorite guests?

Drew Droege was amazing, too. Can't believe I forgot to mention him.

    Episode 139 - Simply Irresistible

Did Jason say Betty Buckley was with John Belushi when he died? I thought that was Cathy Smith (the woman who admitted to shooting him up). She even served some jail time for it. Maybe there were more people with JB at he time of his death. Jason tends to know his stuff. Betty Buckley is the crazy old lady in "The Happening." (Which I know ain't happening on HDTGM, but a girl can dream.)

    The Avengers (1998)

Guys, the PROPOSAL during the Q&A segment? I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Episode 137 - The Avengers: LIVE!

And Jason and June are in Lady Dynamite!! I know they mention that in the podcast but I just felt compelled to shout it. I love it!!
  13. Sandahl Bergman is the instructor from this 1989 work out video, The Firm, Vol. 3:
  14. Yes on the blimp line! Also, Jason from Teen Witch: "There is no way that kid takes baths."
  15. Not sure what category this is for, but I love June's realization (during Con Air), that she just loves movies that take place on planes. The best second opinions BY FAR (my opinion), are those from Rhinestone: - The second opinion about who made the robe worn by Sylvester Stallone's character, as the reviewer wrote "Where do you buy that? Five stars." - "The first time I saw this movie I thought I would die laughing. And I did!" - The review fight!! "Daniel Becker, shut your mouth! Daniel Becker does not know real talent when he sees it!...Sure I respect your opinion, but it's so narrow-minded, I wanna puke!" - "If you're too cool to watch a movie about Dolly Parton trying to turn Sylvester Stallone into a country music star, then guess what? You're an idiot. Five stars." - "Judy! Judy! Go on Amazon and review the movie for me. Judy, please!!" -"Made my mother-in-law laugh. Really fun to see her laugh."
  16. It'd be GREAT to hear a montage of all of Jason's movie pitches for various "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern"-type scenarios. That could be next level bonkers.

    Episode 135 - Solarbabies: LIVE!

Oh man, Jason was on FIRE during this episode. I laughed so hard. He's always super funny and smart, but he was extra hilarious this time. My fave was when the hosts were talking about the sweetness of the video review during second opinions, and Jason said "I feel very differently. I feel like a doctor could diagnose a neurological disorder with this video." And John Mulaney is a great guest!! My dream would be for John Mulaney to come back along with Bill Hader but Bill Hader would have to host as Stefon. Amazing!!! Also, I just want to thank Earwolf for this podcast, and the people on this forum for being so funny and clever. I am a Prince super fan and listening to this episode is the best I've felt since last Thursday. Thank you for that.
  18. I searched and couldn't find a previous post. The whole movie's on YouTube. Terrible.

Episode 134 - Can't Stop the Music: LIVE!

Speaking of Teen Witch, perhaps LuLu took the bows from the Millers' staircase and affixed them to her person.

Guests I'd Love To Hear of HDTGM

TIG!! That would be wonderful!! She is so darned funny!! I just love her delivery. It would be great. And I just need to say, I wish Harris Wittels was still here for many reasons, the least of which is he would have been a great guest. Awhile back, someone suggested doing a crappy Garry Marshall movie, and having Paul F. Tompkins back for that ep. as Garry. I'd like Howard Kremer to come back. He is hilarious!!! He was good on "Reindeer Games," and his three guest spots on April Richardson's "Go Bayside!" podcast (particularly the "Rockumentary" episode), are three of the funniest things I've ever heard. And I agree with the person who suggested bringing back Drew Droege. He was wonderful on "Liz and Dick." Have him back to do "Lucky You." Paula Poundstone. She could do a Daryl Hannah movie!

    At First Sight (1999)

Ha! I remember when "Bed of Roses" came out, the local paper's review said something like 'Christian Slater and Mary Stuart Masterson had the chemistry of a hungry lion and a wounded gazelle.' Hilarious!

    The Light of Day (1987)

He totally honed those mad guitar skills as Marty McFly. Just kidding. I think "The Light of Day" is a great choice. Do you think MJF could work at Howard Kremer's Shredstaurant?
  23. That buzzfeed list is awesome. So is "Sad Affleck." At least the fallout from this movie is entertaining!

    Radio Flyer (1992)

Magical realism. Please do this movie.
  25. "Twister" would be amazing. Every one grab a belt. That will save you!!
