    How did you discover HDTGM?

I exhausted all of "Go Bayside!" so then I googled "Funny podcasts," which produced several lists of humorous podcasts. I read about three lists and HDTGM was on all three. I've tried others on the lists, too, but nothing even comes close to HDTGM. It's my favorite podcast.
  2. Wow, I'm shocked that people hate "Gattaca." It's one of my very favorites, too. 1. King Solomon's Mines 2. Showgirls 3. Laker Girls (oh how I wish this movie was easier to find. It's PERFECT for HDTGM!!) 4. Mrs. Doubtfire 5. Orphan

    The Identical (2014)

Oh, and this movie is on Netflix.

    The Identical (2014)

Bumping this one because it is "next level bonkers."

    Episode 131 - The Covenant

Nick Hoult from "About A Boy" was kind of an awkward looking kid. Not anymore!

    Episode 130.5 - Minisode 130.5

For what it's worth, my cat is named Emma after the character Emma from Kindergarten Cop. You know, the girl whose dad's head is so big he can't wear any hats. Gosh, I love that girl. I, too, have to watch that movie if I come across it.

    Jem and The Holograms (2015)

It was in theaters here in Mpls for two weeks.

    Episode 130.5 - Minisode 130.5

Can't help but think of "American Movie" when Mark says his movie's title is pronounced 'coe-ven' because 'cuh-ven' sounds like 'oven.'

    Exit to Eden (1994)

Bump, because this movie would be fantastic on this show!! And I totally agree about getting PFT as the guest if they do this episode!!

    Episode 130 - Teen Witch

ITA about the U2 import line being a ridiculous lie. So according to Luis, imports aren't records imported from one country to another, but rather, they are records sung in the native or classical language of the country from which they are imported? Oh boy! I just loved this episode. "Luis vs Louise," "AmUlet vs AMulet," "There's no way that kid takes baths." Amazing.

    The Box (2009)

I'm sure this has been mentioned, but I did a search and couldn't find it. I think this bad movie would be a good one for this Podcast.

    Mary Reilly

"Worst Irish accent in film in history" could also be said of Julia Roberts in "Michael Collins." Why, oh, why was she cast TWICE as an Irishwoman??

    Sisters

This movie wasn't nearly as funny as I'd hoped (and I don't think I laughed once during the first 20 minutes), but I thought Tina did a really nice job as the partying sister. I was really surprised she was the partier and Amy was the responsible one, but they made it work. John Cena was a highlight.

    Teen Witch

This is a great suggestion. Awhile ago I suggested the horrible yet amazing 1990 Tina Yothers movie "Laker Girls," but it's harder to find. "Teen Witch" is on YouTube. Bonus!!
  15. I know she's kind of the star, but Nancy drove me NUTS with her yelling in Nightmare on Elm Street. I'll second Kate Capshaw in "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom." Has anyone seen "Creepshow 2"? There is a woman in "The Raft" sequence who screams "Randy! Randy!" in the most annoying way.

Top 10-15 Movies of the Year

I didn't see enough (good) movies in 2015 to warrant a list, but the best movie I saw last year is "Amy."

    Graffiti Bridge (1990)

HUGE Prince fan here. I remember seeing "Graffiti Bridge" in the theater on opening day. I was beyond embarrassed for Prince. That super fake ambulance?! The choreography during "Tick, Tick, Bang"?! Oh boy. I used to belong to a bad move group and one of their screenings was of "Purple Rain." Siskel and Ebert listed "Purple Rain" in their top ten movies of 1984. Funny how opinions differ. I don't think "Purple Rain" the movie is great (the soundtrack is), but it isn't terrible. "Graffiti Bridge," however, is absolutely terrible. So is "Under the Cherry Moon." UTCM isn't "Graffiti Bridge" level terrible, but it's pretty close. A vanity project that went terribly awry.
  18. True. But I feel like there are many more they haven't discussed (and I feel like Wild, Wild West could have a second episode, as it wasn't discussed much the first go round). Shark Tale, MIB II, Bad Boys II, I, Robot, etc.
  19. Katherine Heigl Cuba Gooding Jr. Will Smith

    King Solomon's Mines (1985)

This movie is a family favorite. This move is ridiculous but in a really good way. When the 'natives' are handing Jesse jewels and she does that fake laugh? Ugh! Or when Allan is carrying a 5 foot pole which suddenly becomes 4 yards long when he needs to pole-vault over a giant pit. Fake people, fake railroad ties, fake vegetables. But the entertainment is real.
  21. 1. Remember Me (2010) 2. The Happening (2008) 3. Fathers Day (1997) 4. Chill Factor (1999) 5. Red Riding Hood (2011)

    Laker Girls (1990)

You won't be sorry!! Best Tina Yothers movie ever, and that's really saying something.
