  1. these guests were kind of grating and really smudging the line between loud/obnoxious and funny.. People think Jason is obnoxious but he is often hilarious and his obnoxiousness is an intentional shtick.. these guys were just missing with their "jokes"

they weren't THAT bad, and i dont mean to ben negative, i love the show and this episode was good.

i know whenever someone has the slightest amount of criticism towards a show on here, they get shot down for being "negative" and not appreciating a free podcast, but the point of these forums is to voice your POV or input..

BTW my criticism is mostly towards Dan i suppose, and i dig D'arcy's contributions on I4H and other earwolf programs

  3. Also i had to look up the whole "Pepe the frog" shit.. i'm somewhat up to date on news, i'm not the fanatic i once was but i def. stay informed on the biggest things in news and the fact that an alt. right (or white power) group adopted a crude drawing of a frog who's claim to fame is being a fucking facebook meme is beyond hilarious to me.. i honestly don't believe it still

EDIT: i can already tell there's gonna be some great moments on these "Best Of's" .. possibly something to rival "are these muppets gon fuck Khaleesi" & "Gimme dat pill"

i just noticed how on fire and delirious Scott & PFT were on last years Best Of's...

    bah humbug scrooge!

I can understand not loving the solo bolos, can't understand disliking Benny/Rog' episodes. I can understand it I guess, but I can't understand liking other CBB and disliking those. Horatio is usually at the top of his game, and they get into such random weirdness/absurdity in the opening segment that they're almost always some of my favorite episodes.

Diff'rent strokes I guess, is a show, that happened

Speaking of "traditions are made to be broken", here's to hoping that the Ben Schwartz/Horatio Sanz annual doesn't continue in 2017. I just can't get into Schwartz. Maybe I'm a big Scroogey McWetblanket, or even Scroogey McPoopypants, but that was an unfortunate beginning to one of my favorite shows of the year. At least that means it's out of the way...although I know there's still a solo bolo lurking...

i understand the flack that the Solo Bolos get.. i don't however understand someone's issue with Benny Shwazz as a whole.. I think dude is super talented and funny especially with Scott. I actually was a big fan of all of the previous solo bolo's but for some reason, i could not get into the Quatrolo.. it just didn't do it for me..

one of the funniest small bitlets on this whole podcast was an episode with Horatio and Shwartz where Scott adopts a crass NY-esque dialect and starts calling everyone a "big dicked monsta"

  5. Litrally tearing up at Gaul. Amazing.

Gaul has steadily risen to becoming the number 1 character/guest on this podcast in '16.. No one has had better characters or made me laugh as hard as Ryan. His doctor character is hilarious but the financial advisor is by far some of the funniest shit to ever be on this podcast.. I love how all of his characters share a certain wild card absurdity and a bat shit crazy persona shelled inside a seemingly normal occupation. and his off the cuff improv style is great.

As a lover of both hip-hop and unfiltered artistic expression, this lady stresses me out. But I'm glad her method of preventing her child from hearing these lyrics is boycotting a radio station instead of, you know, taking ten minutes to slowly read through the lyrics with her child sitting right behind her. That would be an interesting twist!

    lol, right?

MC's im huge fans of already say some shit that is outlandish but to not even be quoted correctly and then critiqued pisses me off.

  7. I'm a fan of CBB, but Ming ruined this week's episode for me. My wife's family immigrated to the United States from Vietnam, and I had to turn off this episode because I didn't want her to hear it while I was getting ready for work in the morning. I knew it would make her upset because Ming's accent is clearly making fun of the way her family speaks English. Her family came to the United States as refugees, and worked really hard to rebuild their lives from nothing. It's not easy to learn a new language, and most of my wife's family speaks three or four languages. That these (probably monolingual) white guys are making fun of people like her family because their accents aren't flawless is inconsiderate.

I don't think that Jeremy Rowley or Scott or anyone involved in the podcast was intentionally being racist. I also know that at a surface level, it's amusing when people talk in an unusual way. But for the people you're making fun of, there's a ton of identity issues that can make it a sensitive topic.

Anyway, Heynongman, love the podcast. Cheers.

what is racist about the character?? the voice/accent is actually pretty subtle compared to other chinese impressions.

it doesn't even sound chinese to me. and none of the shtick is really held up by chinese stereotypes.

I think the comedy comes from "Ming" being just an odd dude.. and yes, some of it is predicated on him being a foreigner in the sense that he doesn't get some traditional customs.

but its more of a "fish out of water" scenario. Nothing hinging upon him being chinese really

  8. This back and forth riffing betweem Zouks and Scotty Auks is fucking top notch today...

    Poor Rocky..

i never enjoy talking down on guests on CBB or any podcasts but this Carl Tart dude is kind of wasted potential... he's just telling some half assed back story with no comedy...

  9. Drew Tarver is, to borrow a word from Scott Aukerman, fantastic. His appearance on the CBB Tour in Atlanta is one of the funniest moments of the tour.

thats where he plays the old 70's singer that in massive debt and gets Refills at McDonalds right? that song he performed was fucking awesome. Drew Tarver has like an "it" thing about him. hes consistently hilarious in a PFT, Andy Daly manner.. i dont think he has nearly as much ability to have so many characters but he's pretty great
