So, of course, if we're continuing the favorite themes, You can't Exclude MacGyver There are a couple more but... Huh, that's odd, it only lets me post one at a time. -

I just started listening just a little bit ago, and I have no idea why, I've heard the Charles in Charge theme a shit ton of times, but for some reason, this listen through I thought "Hmm.. Is it just me, or does the Charles in Charge theme song sound kinda like the "baby music"/"Baby mobile" music from Fallout 3/4??" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLRwWxmauRE I very much could just be finally losing my marbles though. -

You guys.... OMG! I know this is going to be a bad time, but I couldn't resist! I just got a new job, and while on break I went into the Dollar General next door and found this: I had to buy it... What's wrong with me?! I mean... They even call it "Hilarious" in the description, so you know it's going to make awful jokes and try too hard... But I mean, come on. -

Oh, no, I enjoy those as well! The thing is, the movies by those guys are unapologetic in how bad and/or low budget they are, whether they mean for them to be or not. But for some reason Blumhouse movies try and market themselves as being polished and fake-mid budget movies, and brag about how small the budget was, but they come off as cheap and disingenuous. Like a knock-off movie. It's alright, it's fine and works, but it just doesn't work as well, and would be better off spending a little bit more money. and it's all because Blum is so strict and unforgiving with the budget, which, to me, is the same as a big name studio not funding a movie because it's "Too risky." -

Everything about that feels scummy as hell. I always wondered why Blumhouse irked me somehow, other than producing awful cheap movies. -
Bumping this. I highly recommend this bonkers movie. Oh God, yes! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0328077/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_26

Top Five movies that are bad and you should hate, but you actually love.

Sprang breaaaaaak. Sprang breeeeeaaaakk. Ugh. I both love and hate that movie so much. But for me I had the super hots for Desmond Harrington... Though speaking of him, there was another movie he did called Love Object (2003) That is so absurd and wonderfully awful about a guy who goes crazy after buying a life like "love doll." So very bonker. -

The worst thing about that scene was the ADR'd "Put it in the leg!" line. It was so out of place it made me laugh. It would have taken all of 1 second to have the wiz frantically slap his leg to show him where to put it. But I guess if he was able to do that, he could have just grabbed the needle from TBND and done it himself? -

So... Wait. Rob Cohen directed both Dragonheart AND TBND??? But for real. It came out in January and wasn't really competing with anything huge, so it's no surprise it made that much. What else are people gonna go watch? -

The "She didn't have a head" punchline, I think the setup is an awful joke I heard when I was a teenager about a guy bragging about finding a girl tied up on the train tracks and having his way with her. Yeah, I know. -

Speaking of down shifting, doesn't John Corbit tell him to do that, and The Wiz screams "There's no clutch!" ... I'm pretty much an idiot when it comes to standard shifting vehicles, but don't you need a clutch to even start a standard car? Let alone drive, or up/down shift. -

I'm only half way through the episode right now, so I don't know if this was brought up or not. This isn't the first time JLo played a teacher. She played a grade school teacher in the movie "Jack" which was released in 1996. It's been quite a while since I've seen THAT movie, but I think she only goes by "Miss Marquez" with no first name given, so if her character was single then, and she met someone, they got married and had a kid within four or five years of that movie, it's completely possible that Her character in TBND could be the same character from Jack. Teachers move to different schools and move up in the grades they teach all the time, and it's not like she was teaching kindergarten in "Jack." Just a dumb thought I had. -

Finish watching Dragonheart then. It's lots of dumb fun and worth the watch at least once, even if they wussed out and changed the movie. -

I've never seen "The Guest" and never heard of Dan Stevens, but based on the pictures from the movie I googled, he looks like a mashup of Bradley Cooper and Paul Walker. -

I found a website that gives you the true size of countries/continents/states and lets you compare with other places on the map. So of course I had to compare Texas to the U.K. (I put London in the same general area as Houston) http://thetruesize.com/ -
