It also revolutionized the way movies were marketed with its use of the internet. I rewatched it today, that ending still gives me chills

I've been meaning to suggest this in the forums. Can't wait for the episode

Probably a long shot, but I'm pulling for Remember the Titans

This has been on my to-watch list forever. Glad I finally have to get around to it

I wonder how many people are voting yes because of reasons that have nothing to do with the quality of Pennies from Heaven. If you really think that it's one of the all-time great movies, then go ahead and vote yes. But thinking that Amy is a great person, being mad that Re-Animator got in, or wanting more diversity in types of films (all of which are things that i agree with 100%) should not be valid criteria for voting a movie in or out of the Canon. then again, i'm probably just taking things too seriously

I think this movie is super overrated, maybe because I didn't see it until I was an adult (just a few months ago actually)

This is the first time I've rented a movie and wanted my money back. Sorry Amy I'm going hard No

i'm pretty sure the film is public domain now, so yeah all versions on youtube are good

I saw it when it came out and loved it. Haven't seen it since so I'd like to revisit it and see how it holds up

Haven't seen The Deer Hunter but between Platoon and Full Metal Jacket I'd probably give the sight edge to FMJ

Honestly, I flipped a coin and came up for There Will Be Blood. But we're eventually putting both of these in right?

The two big WWII movies of 1998! (and likely the reason Shakespeare in Love won Best Picture) Which one wins?

I 100% side with Amy on this one. It's fine, but there's nothing that it does that Evil Dead doesn't do better. Hard no.

Probably the two films that best sum up BBS Productions in the late 60s/early 70s. Massively important and influential films.
