I love RE-ANIMATOR. But this just doesn't quality for me. It's a well made movie and I enjoy it when I watch it. But there's nothing truly innovative in it and fun isn't enough. I mostly agree with Devin on the Canon, but not this time.

I don't see the films of Akira Kurosawa being discussed in the Canon, and I'd like to remedy that with a film that is considered one o the greatest of all time. It's certainly my favorite movie. You would think this would be a no-brainer, but I'd love to see Devin and Amy tackle this movie, how it influenced pretty much everybody, how they personally responded to the film, and how this classic still holds up today. Think about it! Thanks.
