Hi Jackal. Some of us newer folk were brought in by Adam Sachs. He wants us to play the more experienced forum personalities in a TV spinoff of the Hollywood Handbook forums. I guess Scripps is really going all-in with the different-platform reboots

I like when Tom is on. Because this morning I didn't really get any work done (like I usually don't on Tuesday mornings because I'm listening to HH so harddd) but when Tom is on the show I can blame that on him. I never feel like I can blame it on H&S because they're more just like my friends who are entertaining and informing me and I can't try to shift the blame to them for me not getting my projects done. But Tom makes a great fall guy. My bosses even totally understand when I say "I didn't get much work done but it's Eggs fault for trying to make a play." Usually when I say that they give me even more time off on the condition that I use it to go see a Dr. Somebody across town. But I don't. I just schedule the appointment for Tuesday morning and then stay in my car all morning learning about Hollywood and movies.

The episode with Lincoln and Douglas in the midst of their famous debate tour was a pretty influential episode for me. Granted, it was a little choppy because they had to actually run alongside the train and ask the questions to Lincoln and Douglas as they hung out the back of the caboose. But that couldn't dampen the insight from two great forces in American history. I still think the questions were a little softer on Douglas, though, and I do somewhat blame that for deciding the election

At first I didn't know anything about this Alison character, but after seeing how well she rolled in the big leagues with S&H, I can totally see why she's so Rich. I had heard Bernie talk a lot about the Rich and how they have too much influence. But after hearing Alison be hilarious and talk about her own influences, I've changed my mind. Alison Rich deserves everything she's got and I think we're better off with her having lots of influence, whether its on young comediennes or in politics. Sorry, Bern. I'm on Team Rich from here on out.

Funny how life has a way of showing you what your priorities really are. I thought what I really wanted for my birthday was to get the pro version. But then when S&H started doing their physicals, I got so nervous one of them would have Zika or club foot or something. Get to the end of the show and I realize I got the thing I really wanted deep down all along: assurance that Sean & Hayes are both safe, healthy and ready to continue making Hollywood gold for many more decades PS: mike bonetti, you have the best birth date known to man

OK, let's do the math: Team Cap has 1 black guy (Falcon), 1 Russian (Wanda) and 1 woman (Wanda). And I guess one cyborg (Bucky). Team Iron Man has 2 black guys (War Machine, Black Panther), 1 former Russian (Widow) and 1 woman (Widow). And I guess 1 android (Vision). Which team should racists, misogynists, and xenophobes (and I guess people concerned about the singularity) be on? I feel like those segments of the population have been ignored in this conflict and don't really have a side that will allow them to join the fight. Now I'm not any of those things, but I do think it's reprehensible that we've ignored such a sizable portion of the population, and I think it's only fair that we find a faction to represent the interests of prejudiced people.

Someone recently told me that if you let them clean your house they'll do more harm than good, but I thought that sentiment was pretty wildly racist

I just want to say, Producer Engineer Brett, if you're reading this, I don't think it was the drywall that made you sick. Or, I should clarify, I don't think eating the drywall had to make you sick. But you probably didn't prepare it right. Drywall, like steaks, chops, roasts and shellfish, must be cooked to 145 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure safe consumption. Just a tip for the future so you don't vomit again and have to make up an excuse about a guitar solo to get off the hook

I accidentally did one time. I was looking for products for my garden (I'm an avid gardener in the two months a year it's warm enough here to grow plants) and thought the poster had mixed up his word order and meant to say "Weed Killer." Turns out, no, he did list it exactly the way he wanted to. Moral of the story, I didn't get that much gardening done that summer, but I did have a bunch of really cool ideas for a video game where you're a pizza delivery guy but in space and you have to roller blade everywhere

I always thought the forum was an actual place you went to. I would spend hours every week sitting in this resaurant in my town called the Forum. No one else would ever show up and I was so disappointed the things I was saying never made it into the popcorn gallery. So I guess technically I'm new to this forum, but I feel like I've been a Forum member for a very long time
