Hi Dalton, glad to see you made it into 2017 with the rest of us. Thanks for posting another edition of the forum that goes along with my favorite podcast!

I honestly forgot it was already Hollywood Handbook Day, and when I woke up to a new ep in my queue, it was the greatest surprise I've had in weeks. How do I recapture this feeling for next week?

I was gonna congratulate Shrekronomicon for his catchphrase, but apparently Henry beat me to it. You just can't win a niceness contest against that guy ever. Also, turns out it wasn't Shrek's catchphrase either. Still, I want to say congrats to Shrekronomicon for having one of my favorite forum names.

I'm starting to think the Now Hear This live episode has gotten lost in the same broom closet with the Pro Version. It'd be a shame if neither of them ever got to see the light of day again

I like how nice Henry and Silvr are to each other in the forums. You can see the real life cultural impact of this show because it's turned us all into such sweeties

Best part: Vinnie Jones and that amazing ad they did for an amazing product. Everyone should buy them. Not necessarily even that brand. Just buy any kind you want

In studying HH extensively, I consider this the principle of Sëandingers Cat. Are the boys making fun of the thing they're ostensibly making fun of? Or are they satirically making fun of the people who make fun of the thing they make fun of? Or are they coming back around one more time and making fun of those who make fun of those who make fun of stuff? The Principle of Sëandingers Cat says that unless you can look inside the mind of Sean or Hayes to concretely determine which one, they are simultaneously doing all three.

Reductress, isn't that the bad guy from Suicide Squad? Surprising the boys got her on the show considering their very high-profile criticism of the movie both before release (episode Tom Scharpling 2) and after release (episode Andree Vermeulen)

On the one hand, Dalton looks very professional, but on the other hand, he kind of looks like a generic stock office photo from Google. I'm willing to give him a tryout this week, but I can't say I don't miss Agata, whose profile pic looked more like something that might've been on MySpace back in the day

I'm hearing the Clemdawg is making his CBBTV debut tonight? That's a big get for CBB. Nice to see that show getting over the hump

I, for one, am very interested to see where this story arc goes next week. Now we've got a lot of pipe laid and we're set up for the big payoff!

Big thank you to July for posting this thread. I got worried there wasn't going to be an episode before the topic went up, but it just turns out July was building the tension for the best episode of the year*! *tied with all the other episodes this year

Just wanted to thank the boys for seeing my tweet about having Jess McKenna on HH a few weeks ago and making it happen. I knew right away when they didn't like or retweet it that they were trying to surprise me, and it totally worked!

It used to only be like 7 days between episodes back in the good old days when the show had its original format and was very good. Now we usually have to wait like a full week between episodes in the modern era when the show has abandoned its original format and is very good.

Joe Lerini, as a certified nerd, I am in full support of your costume, no matter how misunderstood or misleading. True story, I coach a high school team and one of my students showed up on Halloween in a full-on, comics accurate Emma Frost costume that took visible, conscious steps to distance itself from the bastardized movie version. I don't know that I've ever been prouder of a kid than I was in that moment.

My favorite part is Hannah frantically trying to assure Michaela she didn't engineer the blindside. Like, Hannah, does anyone here really believe you could pull off a blindside without being uncontrollably fidgety and giggly the entire day leading up to it?

I had a spooky night - kept seeing weird stuff out my window - but my biggest fear was that there wouldn't be more Hollywood Handbook. So imagine my relief to wake up this morning and find my yard clear of tiny Harley Quinns and a new HH in my podcast feed!
