Fanclub Singles (1988-1998)
Boneworm replied to JulyDiaz's topic in U Talkin' Talking Heads 2 My Talking Head
Has Adam never not liked a song!? Some of those fan club songs, I thought to myself "Surely, Adam can't be into this?" then he'd chip in with "This is great". -
I'd honestly be happy with Rudi North being on every episode. Shaun is so funny.

It bugged me that they didn't realise that when Al informs the sniveling worm Carl that his daughter's name is a clumsy portmanteau, he wouldn't have been hairless and thus would have done so using his original voice. And that pathetic coward still thanked him for it.

I can't believe how long it took Adam Scott to eat that thing. So gross. Good ep though...

24 - Songs of Experience

Sounds to me like these guys no longer love films. What a shame. -
This could be the all-time worst ever accent performed on CBB, and that's a crowded field! Congratulations Andy!
-
It redirects to a "My Brother, My Brother & Me" referral URL. Those guys must have got there first.

Is this failing to show up on anybody else's "wherever you get your podcasts"? It's usually there right away, but still isn't showing.

I feel like "Hi I'm pregnant" runs it pretty close.

Episode 504 - The Bigger the Percent the Better
Boneworm replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Does anyone get the sense that something was cut out at the end of the first segment? It seemed like Scott throwing to the break was recorded separately and was pretty sudden. Also, at the end when Scott mentioned Brett had talked about slaves, maybe I zoned out or missed a bit because I listened in two stints, but I didn't remember that coming up. Anyway, I enjoyed this. I love when Scott is in this kind of mood and just tries to get a rise out of someone. I wonder how much that movie cost... -
I don't think any of the people in the studio have ever seen a grape...

Aw, Joe really sounds like Harris at times. When he was talking about Angela Bassett, especially.

Ep. 1 Shrugging Destiny (w/ Paul F. Tompkins)

Zach sounds so much like Trey Parker when he sings. I love it. -
Pretty accurate likeness from that kid.
-
That really was some #classicJarles. Learning that he's allergic to swords was the moment of the episode. "Ding-Dong. Hello who is it? Swords" "... Your phone goes Ding-Dong?"
-
Ah, gotcha.

I think Scotty just dropped a spoilee about a future episode lineup on Twitter. https://twitter.com/...909005720363009

I love Scott when he's like this. When he can ask a nonsense question that gets the guests laughing. It worked well here with Rory, not so well with the Dropping the Soap guys, who just didn't seem into it. My favourite examples are: To the Silicon Valley cast - "So guys, Silicon Valley. Ones and zeros... you know?" To the 22 Jump Street directors - "So, 22 Jump Street, it's a sequel. It's not a prequel, it's not... a squeakquel!?"

Episode 489 - The Bajillion Dollar Propertie$ Elevator Pitch
Boneworm replied to JulyDiaz's topic in Comedy Bang Bang
Scott: Alright guys, please never return. PFT: You can count on it! You said it, Scotty! -
Ron Funches talks so much like Fabrice Fabrice at times. Scott had some great moments in this one Papa John Misty: "Well Jesus was crucified in just one night" Scott: "... took 3 days."
-
I genuinely think this might be the most consistently funny CBB ep of all time. It was always likely to be an Andy Daly episode. Maybe battling it out with ep 89 (Great Big Hill of Hope with Harris and Nick Kroll). I just grinned the entire way through. Definitely one to re-listen soon.

I'm only 40 minutes in, but Scotty is absolutely on fire in this ep. So funny! Always happy to see Will Hines on the guest list, he's the king of abandoning a premise in favour of yes-and-ing.

What episode had the LinkedIn Employee?

It was a live show - MAY 25 - SEATTLE WA, MOORE THEATRE http://howl.fm/audio/42030/may-25-seattle-wa-moore-theatre Tim Baltz absolutely killed it. -
Scott reeling off Shelly Driftwood's backstory really made me laugh. He's barely a character at all, is he?

Me, I'm afraid. I still listened all the way through, but it was pretty hard work.
