    This movie is the example I used for finding impossible-to-search-for threads in the instructions pinned at the top of the Bad Movie Recommendations forum. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

     

    Sorry, I read the instructions when I joined the forum a while back, but didn't think to check the instructions again when I searched for (and clearly did not find) a previous post for this movie.

    Set in the future, Arnold Schwarzenegger is cloned (double the Arnold, double the fun). Chaos ensues revealing a cloning conspiracy. It's currently available on Hulu, by the way.

     

    Cast includes:

     

    Tony Goldwyn

    TERRY CREWS

    Michael Rooker

    Robert Duvall

     

    It also features a distinctly 90's perception of what the (near) future would look like, weird/techno scene wipes, and the uncanny valley in doll form.

    I was not even aware of this movie until a friend watched it and then felt the need to share how amazingly horrible it is -- I also didn't realize a movie could have a Rotten Tomatoes score of 0%.

     

    This film has everything you need to make a terrible horror movie: nonsensical/nonexistent plot, a trailer with lots of birds and oddly whimsical music, that kid from Rookie of the Year (a 90s classic).

     

    Some questions to ponder include:

    No really, HOW did this get made?

    HOW did they get Brad Dourif to be in this movie?!

    What genre or target audience were the creators aiming for (because I genuinely have no idea, other than to rope in Lord of the Rings fans with Dourif)?
