Episode 252 - Governor Gabbi
BenA.Varkentine_29772 replied to Wil Dride's topic in How Did This Get Made?
Her page seems to be gone now, but at one point on Gabbi's instagram there was "test footage" for another project that contained the line "I just feel like my emotions are insane, and now you want me to become a werewolf , and I'm kind of freaking out, OK?" This made me want to renounce all possessions and follow the Niebauer's teachings. -
Episode 226 - Body of Evidence: LIVE!
BenA.Varkentine_29772 replied to SlidePocket's topic in How Did This Get Made?
If it had been revealed at the end that Madonna and Anne Archer were lovers the movie would've fallen into "The Dead/Evil Lesbian Cliche." Which as the name suggests, is that when gay women appear on film or tv they end up dead, evil or both. There are long lists of examples. Hollywood's record of this has improved slightly in recent years but in 1993, the year after gay protests against Basic Instinct, it could've been extra offensive. I do not suggest that the filmmakers avoided that twist *for* that reason, but it's probably for the best that they did. -

Actually I think he's doing Cher, who he dated in the late '70s. -
Episode 194.5 - Minisode 194.5

At 11:30 there's one of the worst continuity errors I've ever seen. His goggles just vanish. 30 minutes in and Vanity-who was the first person I was rooting for, because hello, lady!-shakes my faith in her. She's supposed to be a hyper-competent super-spy, and frickin' John Stamos can follow her on a motorcycle and she doesn't know until he pulls up next to her? Still, I ended up really wishing the movie had been about her, at least as she was in the first third of the movie. Before she succumbed to Stamos' "manly" charms and became just another damsel in distress. -
45 minutes in so maybe we'll get to this, but FYI? If you're wondering how Jon Voight got in the movie: He's the godfather of Brat Skyler Shaye. http://okmagazine.com/uncategorized/jon-voights-goddaughter-breaks-out/ Knowing is half the battle.
