This movie could be the most amazing thing I've ever seen. Every couple minutes I'm saying, "I cannot believe what I just watched." This is not a big budget movie but has some relatively well known actors -- Ellen Barkin, Vincent Kartheiser, Jeffrey Wright and the amazing Michael Ironside.
While I know HDTGM doesn't often go with the smaller budget movies, this actually won awards at Sundance.
Based on a famous piece of literature, they went into taboo topics and had some of the most off-the-wall, how-did-they-say-it-with-straight-face lines, that I couldn't believe anyone on this film thought this was a good idea.
But it truly is so bad it's good. Currently on Showtime. Paul, Jason, June, you will thank me later. I think.
