Can we talk about Paul and Mary Bland -- the snarky restaurateurs previously of the movie Eating Raoul? That movie ends -- sorry spoilers -- with Mary serving a meal made from her recently murdered lover to the realtor negotiating the purchase of a restaurant for them. There is no reason for them to be at this all mall meeting, UNLESS we are to believe that Chez Bland is now in the mall. Since they feature so prominently in the opening, I am forced to believe that the lightning storm is actually a red herring meant to disguise the fact that Paul and Mary have reprogrammed the Protectors into Killbots either to provide them with meat for their cannibal cuisine, or simply to get rid of people they don't like 'cause there's no way they're cool with what's happening in that furniture store. Paul thinks they can be programmed, Mary thinks they can be useful to the restaurant, and all the bodies seem to disappear to somewhere. Paul and Mary are the murders. Also, can we please have an episode on Eating Raoul?
