Finally have caught up again to comment on the show when it comes out! Great episode on a baffling movie! did anyone else notice that no one seems to dress for the cold weather in this movie? For example Charlotte gainsbourg wearing a sleeveless shift dress. Also none of the characters seem to zip up their coats! Maybe “real Norwegians” are just immune to the cold

I just wanted to know more about MJH’s friend at the diner and the kinky sex games she has with her boyfriend on Christmas. And her simmering resentment that he doesn’t use coasters for his beer cans

Am I crazy or did I see a brief scene of January Jones testifying against Bruce Willis at the trial as one of the women he cheated with? If so, guess she’s got a thing for ad men!

And he went on to become a porn star after it was reattached!

I didn’t even notice the predator movie posters cause I was focused on the random 4 white guy a capella group practicing/performing? underneath the posters. Was that a thing in the 80s? Just dudes singing on the sidewalk...or maybe it was a Detroit thing? And action Jackson is really ripped for a 50 year old! congrats on the 200th episode! I’m glad this show exists in my timeline!

Or do a commentary cause I think they would have something to say about every single frame of this movie

Yes! While they are in the car together cause it’s raining he looks at her so creepy and asks if she’s scared. I don’t remember if she answers but he says “don’t be” I really felt it would’ve fit right in with the movie if he said “you should be!”

I just want to know if Rick ever paid the water bill like his Mom asked him several times...yelling it at him as he drove away with the girl in circus slut shorts (great line from tawny!)

Did anyone notice in one scene there’s a maid folding laundry? (How do they afford a maid on an accountant and taxi driver/pilot salary?) Or maybe she’s the babysitter because the parents are leaving for work. And when they leave and Julie starts crying no one is there to comfort her! Seriously these are neglectful parents that never seem to be around their kids. Almost missing Julie’s first step, not noticing the sibling rivalry at all, etc. Mikey destroys his youngest sisters favorite toy and the head is still there weeks? Months? later...if that is the maid she’s doing a bad job!
