A Winona Ryder-starred supernatural horror, with attempt to get the mood of a paranoid thriller of the 70s with the terror of a Rosemary's Baby kind of religious horror and the apocalyptic vibes from the end of millenium, but fails miserably. Directorial debut of Janusz Kaminski, cinematographer of various Spielberg movies. It is a film that the more it goes on, more it gets into a hilarious nonsense, like a scene which Ryder is chased in a abandoned house by a possessed serial-killer who escaped of an asylum with his crossed arms like a mummy. Or the scene with Ryder get scared in a restaurant with a 9-year old child singing: One of 21 movies to obtain a F in Cinemascore. I think it is perfect for the show.

A movie which fits perfectly in category Thank God It Got Made. Chloe Moretz finds Isabelle Huppert's purse in subway, and a friendship begins from there until it culminates on stalking and insanity. Pure amazingly batshit crazy performance of Huppert, a BONKERS third act and the scene TWO SUPPOSED dream sequences makes a movie tailor-made for the show.

Just finished watching this teen horror film and HOLY SHIT, this is next level bonkers. The plot is about Maria (played by India Eisley, from the Underworld movies), a trouble teenager who is bullied on school and has a cold relationship with her parents, specially with her father (Jason Isaacs in full Lucious Malfoy mode). All changes with she discover that her MIRROR IMAGE is alive and becomes her confidante, soon switching places and revealing a sinister personality. OMG. And you know that the mirror persona is named AIRAM (YES, MARIA IN BACKWARDS, what a BRILLIANT insight!)? The movie is full of INSANE SCENES, like: It begins with a sonogram showing a FIGHT between two fetuses Jason Isaacs character is obsessed with perfection, offering a plastic surgery like a BIRTDAY GIFT for his daughter The school prom is happening in the SKATING RINK There's a cut between a sex scene and a crab's knife cutting Oh, and the movie had a SKATING CHASE SCENE (spoilers) The movie in the final 30 minutes becomes a psychosexual thriller and it's more insane because of that. It's now streaming on MAX GO, and I fully recomend. It's a treat for the show and totally deserves the gang's attention. Trailer:

Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones, The Tudors) stars (and co-wrote!) this thriller in which she plays a blind pianist who involves in a conspiracy after her neighbor's suspicious death. Starts in a promising way, but the narrative evolves in a dumb espionage/vengence plot, with a action scene involving a absurd outdoors kidnnapping atempt, for instance. But nothing prepares for the NONSENSICAL AND HILARIOUS PLOT TWIST in the ending which basically contradicts everything in the movie. Prepare for beffuddlement, only possible reaction in the end. Using the Pulp Fiction narrative structre on a kids film it's an idea which deserves a better movie than this piece of crap.
