This movie is on disney plus It starts with the lead character surfing! This never comes back in to play. Everything happens by almost by chance, but is also a part of a plan. It is hard to say if its magic or science that the mythological creatures have, and the rules to each. I guess though, the ability to unhinge your jaw and eat dirt and spray it out your butt is more magic than science.

This movie starts in voice over, and the very next scene is a different voice over. Followed by scene after scene with no pay off, or call backs to most things. Tried to be creepy build ups like Us or Midsommer but with nothing ever surprising or creepy really happening. It's new in theaters so I wouldn't expect anyone else to waste money on it but when it is cheap or free if you watch it you will be let down.
