All right, fun's fun, but now you bastards have really gone too far.

I think that I laughed harder and more consistently during this one than I have during any other episode of this podcast. And that -- my friends -- is really saying something.

This episode was uniformly fantastic on every level.

Well, to the surprise of absolutely no one, it turns out that Rachel Bloom is exceptionally well-suited to the format of this podcast.

I really hope you're right. In any case, this episode was great.

I concur. That interview portion went from being very silly/funny to being a serious (but still funny) exploration of some profound truths in a very short span of time. I was also somewhat taken aback by how instantly sad and crestfallen I felt when Lauren mentioned that after a hiatus With Special Guest will only be returning on Stitcher Premium.

I've always wondered about the origin of Horatio's "Rog/Raj" nickname, and after listening to this episode I'm still not sure that I'm much closer to understanding it.

I'm no expert, but Andy Daly seems to me to be the most talented improviser working today.

This was great, and an obvious spiritual successor to the Andy Daly/Lauren Lapkus classic, "Me 2 I'm Talkin' U2 to U Too."

Three of my favorite people! (None of whom I actually know in real life, which is perhaps a tragic comment about myself.)

I know there must be things in this world that I find to be more delightful than Wild Horses appearing on Improv4Humans, but sitting here now I can't really think of any.

That was really great. It seems to me that if Nicole Parker had been given an opportunity to create (in a laboratory) an ideal podcast for herself to be a guest on, she would have more-or-less come up with the Off Book podcast.

That was very funny.

That was a great episode. Drew Spears is so quick, it's just incredible. Also, all the songs sounded great. How in the hell does Engineer Brett keep pulling off this trick where his audio recordings sound like they've emerged out of Rick Rubin's production studios?

I read this comment before I listened to the episode, and then I couldn't not interpret it this way the entire time.

I agree. Plus, that was the most masterful impression of Eric Bana that I've ever heard. Note: I've heard exactly one Eric Bana impression.

I'm ashamed to admit that I always believed that "Don't think" was among UCB's rules for improv as well. Not in the sense of, "just turn your brain off and utterly disengage," but more in the sense of, "just rely on your training to react in the moment and organically follow the game of the scene, rather than 'actively try to think of something funny to say,' which might ruin everything." I had no idea about the actual origin of that phrase. This is all really just confirmation of the fact that I really need to finally pull the trigger on ordering myself a copy of the UCB Comedy Improv Manual.

The sheer consistency of Bones McGrill's gravelly voice was absolutely spellbinding.

I really enjoyed this episode. It made me nostalgic for the long, lost Totally Laime podcast.

I found the idea that an ancient Wolf-Man might seek to conceal his identity by posing as a hooded Klansman because he saw the writing on the wall and perceived that being in the Klan was gaining social acceptance in modern America to be simultaneously very funny and depressingly plausible.

This episode was just delightful.

Do we think that Matt Besser's prominent mentioning of the fact that Comedy Bang Bang is reaching a 500 episode milestone was also a sly way of emphasizing the fact that Improv4Humans is also approaching a 300 episode milestone, and -- as he made clear on the 200th episode -- Matt will simply not tolerate any further failure on the part of corporate podcast culture to acknowledge this kind of achievement? Or, am I sounding a little too much like Alex Jones here? Also -- though I thoroughly enjoyed this episode -- whatever happened to the continuation of the multi-episode Mope arc from last week? I really hope that that will continue. Also (at the clear risk of outstaying my welcome) -- I really like how much Scott Aukerman's improv style differs from most people who appear on this podcast, insofar as he will sometimes appear to willfully focus on inane, dead-end details (as he does on CBB) in an apparent effort to derail everything, which forces the other (more classically trained) improvisers to try to deal with his gleefully-introduced roadblocks. Talented and experienced improvisers (such as those featured here) are usually up to the challenge, but the results are always very engaging.

Am I the only one whose iTunes feed is simply refusing to download/recognize this episode? Also: Am I correct in assuming that a Mike Castle episode is now a yearly June tradition for this podcast? Also: I love this podcast.
